It's just a complete joke that any movie should win 12 awards. The Academy trivialized the importance of any other movies made in 2003. It will be known simply as the year that The Return of the King came out, and that's all.
Oh well, not like it matters what I say, since Barry "Roger Ebert" Jive and everybody else on this board are biased anyway, since we're all losers.
Besides, even with 11 awards, that only makes you as good as Titanic. There's a nice comparison: A melodramatic movie about a boat sinking compared to a 3 hour debacle about a guy throwing a ring into a volcano.
