Gotta say that I agree...a very interesting post, and one that brings up some interesting questions.

Here's one of my thoughts on this whole thing though.

I do believe in God, and I am a Christian and do have some background knowledge on this subject.

In fact, my pastor has been preaching on prophecies in the New Testament (mainly Matthew) for a few weeks now, and it's incredibly interesting.

So, here's my thought (I'll get to it...don't wanna make this a long un like my predecessors

)

I don't have my Bible with me right now, but I believe that the passage of Scripture is around Matt. 24.

It states that Christ will come like a theif in the night. He will come when no one is expecting it. Thing is, we're pretty much expecting it right now. It does seem sometimes like the End Times should be upon us any day soon.

However, I think that it will come during a time when humanity is actually at a sense of peace and rest. I'm not saying that when we achieve world peace will be when Christ returns. I just don't believe that it will be in a time of turmoil.

Just my thoughts on this. Again, great discussion guys.
