Because surely the only evidence of him committing the crimes is in his autobiography. They are so melodramatic (thesaurus yesss) to be taken literally.
He has been to court on the basis of previous statements, proved innocent, then said outside the law courts something along the lines of 'Of course I facking shot him'.
My uncle can vouch for him, although he did say that where he was described to have bent a porsche door by pulling a guy out of the car was kinda not true.
Actually, thinking about it, he probably is full of shit.
