this site is a perfect microcosm of what it is like to be a westerner in Korea. all of the links are parodies (only slightly deviating) from REAL truths that MANY Koreans believe. They
literally
think that sleeping with a fan on in a room with no open windows and doors can kill you. There are graphics lie that everywhere, with Konglish, nonsensical English printed on clothes and myriad other commercial items that is just ridiculously foolish given the amount of native English speakers living here. I'll upload some photos of school supplies soon.
Anyways, the site is obviously written by a foreigner, but I can't explain how flawlessly he captured how Koreans (children and adults) utilize English in this country, despite many of them having studied it since they were little. For example (no pun intended) Koreans LOVE to use transitions like "For example", "So", and "Also", but they fuck it up/overuse them constantly as "filler". Worth a laugh and a little insight into one of the most nationalistic and racist developed countries in the modern world.
