Nice work f3lix starting this thread a couple hours before kickoff and then getting fired up when no one responded. Some of us were too busy doing things like hanging out with our friends to be making internet posts. You should try it sometime.
Regarding bets, I cleaned up. I was pretty heavy on Under 57 and at halftime I hedged and took Over 28 and hit my 12-point middler. It was pretty sweet. I run so good on Super Bowl bets in even numbered years.
Had 3 bets with Orgazmo:
That the first score of the game would happen with 8:46 remaining in the first quarter or sooner (lost).
That Dallas Clark would not score a TD (won).
That Peyton Manning would have more passing yards than Brees or no worse than 29 fewer passing yards than Brees (won).
My roommate was betting on the craziest shit:
That game MVP would not thank God first (not sure how this will be graded).
That Carrie Underwood's anthem would be under 1 minute and 42 seconds (lost by a couple of seconds).
That CBS would flash to Archie Manning less than 4 times (won; they only showed him once).
That the Who guitarist would make the big 360 windmill less than 5.5 times (lost going away; there was a stretch where he did it like 15 times in a row right on camera, we were laughing our asses off at how badly that bet lost since it was small enough that losing wasn't a big deal).
The Super Bowl is Fun with a capital F.
