Indeed, I thought the same thing before my excursion, but the fact of the matter is that Korean girls are simply too conservative and innocent, and not in the sexy way. You basically have to be their boyfriend for them to even consider having sex with them, and to be their boyfriend you basically have to tell them you're in love with them. Neither of these things are things i'm willing to do.
I've heard it's a different story from some people, namely people who live in Seoul (a lot easier to take girls home when you don't live an hour away by cab, but I have yet to see this in practice. Most guys who hook up with Korean girls have only hooked up with one, and she is now their girlfriend. I wouldn't even want that anyway, no matter how hot she is...Korean girls are EXTREMELY clingy and needy, just how their culture is, combined with the fact that she probably doesn't speak enough conversational English to want to be around her for longer than necessary anyways.
The bottom line (i've said that a lot today) is that most "Asian girls love Western guys" stereotypes are simply false in the 21st century, at least when it comes to hooking up with no strings. I could probably easily get a Korean girlfriend, but that's the last thing I want, and it would likely be extremely sexually unsatisfying based on their cultural views of sex. They don't need Western guys anymore, the "Western Culture" that we've been brought up through movies and media to expect other countries want SO BAD from us is already here and it's been adopted by their own males. Korean chicks have been fucking Korean guys for thousands of years, and Korean guys can converse with them, likely share the same cultural and idealogical viewpoints, and won't cause them to be stared at and insulted when they're in public (which happens to a lot of Korean girls who date Western guys)
Living here is kind of a huge cocktease. There are hot Korean girls (see kpop thread...although it's usually not that extreme in public) who walk around in the shortest skirts you could possibly imagine being socially acceptable with heels, and have some of the best bodies you could imagine..but the chances of you ever seeing those heels on your bedroom floor are pretty slim.
