Yeah; and JoePa claims he was "shocked" at the news in 2002, when in 1998 the Penn State cops questioned Sandusky and made him promise not to shower with any more 10 year olds. The then coach-in-waiting and top D coordinator in the country retired at 55 in 1999, I suppose that is all coincidence and Joe couldn't have possibly known that his second in command was raping boys, and was let go as a result.

Wouldn't at least some of these people count as "Mandatory Reporters" the same way a hospital worker, teacher, social worker would? Wouldn't they be required by law to report any suspicion of abuse? What would the penalty be for breaking that law be in a similar case?

Personally if JoePa spent a few years in jail, I wouldn't complain.
