Calabrese is a band that I've been following for many years now. I've posted their music around this board occasionally to try and promote a good band

Calabrese is a group of 3 brothers, Bobby, Jimmy, and Davey Calabrese, from Phoenix, AZ. Their new album, Dayglo Necros, sounds a bit like The Misfits, if The Misfits had access to better tech. This new album, imo, blows the older Calabrese stuff away. This is a band that always seems to improve with each successive album release.

I actually like Graves almost as much as Danzig as frontman for the Misfits. Danzig solo is meh.

I can see how people don't like anything after Lucifuge, you have to be a big fan and let it grow on you. But as for I and II...I just don't see how anyone couldn't appreciate it.

About a year ago, I tried to explain how Danzig is nowhere near what DH thinks he is through numerous examples, but DH won't accept reality.

That is an unofficial release. It's a rough cut before going through any type of production. I like it because it sounds rough and is reminiscent of his earlier Misfits days.

The guy is 57 years old and still rocking hard as fuck. He is awesome and has always made the kind of music he wants to make, not what record companies, radio stations, and teeny bopping pop faggots want to hear. He does what he wants, and you have to respect that.

I respect anybody doing what they want. That doesn't imply I respect crap. The thought that you said it's his pre-production cut proves my point - he needs a studio to give his music a makeover.

That's laughable, the production quality of The Misfits is practically zero and it's still awesome.

You just don't get it, and I don't think you ever will.

I could post some live stuff, and I will one day, but you won't like it either. Especially due to the fact that a lot of it is from the mid-80s to early-90s and the video recording is shit.
