Help Locating Beer

Do any of you guys know where I can possibly buy some Upland Beer up here? I am hooked on the IPA and really don't wish to drive to Muncie just to get some beer, being that is the only Big Red Liquors I know near here.

Mr. Blonde 05-15-2006 01:49 AM

Do we even have a Big Red liquors in muncie?

Niger Angelus 05-15-2006 09:17 PM

I think so, maybe not, but I know I bought some there...so, any actual help?

where is "up here" ? if your in the elkhart area try the Chalet party store, they even might be able to order it for you.

Liquid Assets on Center St.

He, prolly like me, is broke and staying with the rents for the summer and working a factory job to try and cover for next semester. Or, he is just crazy, that could be it too.

blackbirdsjoy 05-21-2006 03:02 PM

I graduated from Grace, my future-wife and I looked for jobs at places we'd like to live; Denver, Seattle, Portland... but we both got job offers we couldn't refuse so we've decided to stick around the area for 2 years, build up the resume and head out when we're more marketable. It would be easier finding a good job then.

I have a few friends that did pizza delivery at Papa Johns and made a lot of cash, if you don't want to get stuck in a factory.

I was just in the Challete (sp?) Party Store this past weekend and i saw it in there. we have about 7 store locations in Goshen/Elkhart but the one that had it is off of 17 in dunlap, right across form Mr. Blondes house.

sry i cant give you more than that. my internet at work has nubblies blocked.

Mr. Blonde 06-01-2006 10:56 PM

thats not dunlap, son.

Niger Angelus 06-03-2006 12:16 PM

Alright we are making some head way here. So, Blonde, where is it? Because I have no idea where anything is in Elkhart. I am not even sure where Goshen ends and Elkhart begins. I don't even know if Elkhart is near Goshen. I did drive to Michigan on 13 once.

:that's about it.

Beebs 06-03-2006 03:19 PM

Dunlap is basically the area on 33 between goshen and elkhart. 17, where Blonde lives, is the dividing line between jefferson township and elkhart. And you drove to Michigan on 131, 13 stops once it crosses the toll road...god I'm a nerd.

blackbirdsjoy 06-03-2006 11:05 PM

phone book has my address listed as dunlap and it's withen a mile of my house so....

i didn't post directions last time, having trouble with 56k, from warsaw you take 15 up through goshen, it curves around (left at an intersection with a papa johns, and then right at the next light) 10 minutes later you should get to u.s. 20 turn west/left on that and another 10 minutes later turn left of 20 onto 17. A few intersections later you should find it in a strip mall with a Quizno's and Ritters. This should be around an 1-1hr 15 min drive don't know if that will help you any.

recently i went to Syracus and theres a small grocers there: Arthurs fresh market. They had uplands' wheat brew, not sure which one your looking for. Chalet(and thats how it's spelt) had different kinds.

theres a closer chalet, when you get to Goshen on 15 turn right at an intersection with a CVS, or Walgreens pharmacy ( i can't remember) you'll pass by Goshen High School so maybe you can map quest that, after you drive for a while you'll come to a Wal*mart super center on your left, on your right is the Chalet. Thats faster but i don't know weather they have it or not.

I was just in service liquers and they have upland Amber and Wheat brew, your set for the summer

Niger Angelus 07-02-2006 02:00 AM

I want the IPA, aka Dragonfly.

blackbirdsjoy 07-02-2006 09:26 PM

Havn't seen that, but that means their supplier can provide them with upland beer. They could probably bring it in the next shipment if you ordered it

Niger Angelus 07-03-2006 12:45 PM

Yeah, good call, thanks for remembering sir.

Niger Angelus 07-03-2006 11:34 PM

Went to Service Liquors tonight, and they had 4 types of Upland, and yes they had the Dragonfly!!!

Yes!!!

I got the Amber Ale too, which I must say is pretty damn good.
