I use proactive solution everyday. It includes cleanser shit like face soap, toner and lotion. I just started using it. I'm pretty happy with it. Since my stress level over the last few months has been extremely elevated, I've been breaking out a lot more. I have to say thus far I'm convinced the commercials aren't bullshit. The green tea moisturizer is fucking incredible. When you apply it, it's like life is being breathed into your skin. After some time of using it you will just touch your face because the skin feels absolutely amazing. I know that's gay but fuck it's true.

I think some of you need to be reminded of South Park's take on this topic.

I shave before I shower but make sure to soak my face pretty thoroughly with warm water. I too would get ingrown hairs if I shaved every day and didn't soak my face prior to shaving.
As far as other treatments I use a neutrogena men's moisturizer on my face pretty frequently. For face wash I use Cetaphil. If you look it up it's basically the weakest type of soap you can use on your face. It is alcohol free and I was told by a dermatologist that its one of the healthier face washes you can use. If you struggle with acne or oily skin I don't think this is the stuff for you. Fortunately I haven't struggled too bad with acne or oily skin. |

I occasionally wash with soap and water, hardly ever shave, and get laid on the daily...nooch.

Some of us don't shave like pussy faggots and cut our own hair with scissors, 2 mirrors and a razor. (hey guys i'm talking about me) Jesus fucking christ what a 20-year-old college kid thread.

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Some of us aspire to do more than teach a bunch of gooks english and therefore shaving is likely to be required. Basically all I wanted to know is if anyone else used the Fusion and got ingrown hairs from it. I started using a razor with only 3 blades in the shower. We will see if there is any improvement.

Do any of you assholes get canker sores?
I do. Bigtime. And it sucks. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Sure, if I eat something very acidic, I'm more likely to come down with a case. And yeah, if I bit the inside of my cheek, it will inevitably turn into a sore. But they also come randomly. And they seem to be getting worse. Right now, for example, I have a crate in my tongue about half the size of a BB. IN MY GOD DAMNED TONGUE! This is unprecedented for me. Help. |

I've tried L-Lysine to no avail. I've also tried special toothpastes and all of that to no avail.
The candy tip actually is a decent theory. Since you provided that big jar of candy, I've been upping my intake. Maybe it's time to put that in the cupboard... |

I'd normally rather have the pain than the numb feeling, though. The numb feeling feels like I'm chewing on cotton balls (or "cotton rounds" for you fancy fuckers). Give me pain over that. Unless I'm sleeping. Give me cotton balls if I'm sleeping.

I can't remember when I last had a canker sore. I've only ever gotten small ones. All definitely smaller than a BB. When they bother me enough, I decide to cure them.
How to cure canker sores: Step 1. Apply Orajel (covers and numbs, but the numbing is the important part) Step 2. Remove canker sore using sterilized stainless steel cuticle nippers. After I searched for some images of canker sores, most of the pictures that came up looked pretty horrible. If yours look anywhere near as bad as those, you may not want to try my method. I've done it several times with great success. If I ever bled afterward, it was too little to notice. But again, all my past canker sores have been pretty small, so be forewarned. |

Firstly, my normal canker sores get a decent bit larger than bb's. This is just the first one I've had on my tongue. The big ones in my inner-cheek/gum area are sometimes pea sized or a bit larger. And they bleed on their own. Which sucks.
Secondly, I can't imagine that tearing them off would help as my worst canker sores comes from trauma. It seems that trauma always results in a cank, too. Seems like ripping it off would just be like starting from square one. |
