While on the Indiana University site, I ran across a website about alcohol and all that jazz. Anyways, there was a neat little test which returned a great deal of information. I know someone posted a ball state one awhile ago, but this one is much more thorough.

Anyways, they listed the normal reactions to bac levels, so I listed them below.

Normal BAC reactions -

.02% Light and moderate drinkers begin to feel relaxed. Driving, even at this level, can be risky.

.04% Most drinkers begin to feel relaxed. Rapid drinking can create the illusion that it takes more alcohol to feel relaxed because the first drinks are taking effect while later drinks are being consumed. For women who are pregnant, there is no safe level of alcohol. Alcohol puts the unborn child at risk.

.06% Judgment is somewhat impaired. People are less likely to make sound judgments about their capabilities (like ability to drive safely). This BAC level is considered legally intoxicated in some states.

.08% Judgment is further impaired. People are more likely to do things they would not do while sober, and are unable to accurately judge their ability to drive safely. Definite impairment of driving ability and memory is present. It is illegal to drive at this level of intoxication (and above) in Indiana.

.10% Reaction time and muscle control are impaired. This level is considered legally drunk in all 50 states. A person driving at this level is 10 times more likely to cause a fatal car crash. Normal social drinkers rarely reach this level.

.12% Vomiting occurs in a normal person unless the drinking has reached this level gradually or has a substantial tolerance to alcohol. Vomiting is a normal protective reaction of the body.

.15% Balance and movement are substantially impaired. The person has difficulty walking or talking in a normal fashion. Heavy drinkers with a substantial tolerance to alcohol may learn to look sober at this level. At this BAC, about one half pint of whiskey is circulating in the bloodstream. A person driving at this level is 25 times more likely to cause a fatal car crash.

.20% At this level, a person is about 100 times more likely to cause a fatal car crash if he or she drives. In a normal person, this BAC level is likely to cause a kind of amnesia known as an "alcohol blackout" in which the person cannot recall what happened.

.30% Many People lose consciousness, falling asleep or passing out. Individuals who have a high tolerance to alcohol may remain conscious at much higher levels. Such a high tolerance is a serious risk factor for health problems.

.40% Most people lose consciousness, a protective reaction preventing continued drinking. Risk of death from alcohol poisoning begins to increase.

.45% This is a fatal dose for about half of normal individuals. Alcohol at this level can paralyze the part of the brain that controls breathing and heart rate. Vital functions cease and the person dies of respiratory or cardiovascular failure. This can happen when someone drinks a large amount of alcohol, passes out, and the alcohol in the stomach continues to be absorbed into the bloodstream, causing a fatal dose. This is a special danger in drinking contests, a frequent cause of lethal overdose.

.60% Most drinkers would be dead. Emergency rooms and police departments, however, recognize that a few drinkers with abnormally high tolerance do survive and even remain conscious at this level.

Now, I do not drink very often at all, and I rarely know my bac. But a couple of weeks ago, during a night of being depressed and drinking with a close friend, we decieded to get out his roomates breathalizer. Well, we kept testing ourselves throughout the night, with the levels getting progressively higher. But when he had finally fallen asleep and I was done listening to music, I was downstairs to do some laundry and I noticed the breathalizer on the table. Well, curiousity killed the cat. And apparently alcohol was going to kill me. It gave me a reading of .39; a hair below the "fatal dose" as described by the above chart. I shrugged and went back to doing laundry.
The moral of the story? I don't know, I just thought I'd tell that little story.

Nope, can't say I know at all what you're talking about. Honestly, quit blowing smoke out your ass you whore. Just fucking with you, but seriously UB, 13 shots of 80 Proof random shit first time...didn't feel a goddamn thing. My second time, though...well that's a different story.

Yeah, it's funny how amounts of alcohol can have different effects on the body at different times. I guess it all depends on how much bread you've eaten before.
