EA bought exclusive rights to the NFL because 2k was honing in hard on them and was beating them in the ratings year after year. 2k put a $20 price tag on their 2k5 game (it took Madden 6 years later to put out a game as good as that one) and EA saw its profits dwindle. So... they monopolized the market by buying out the exclusive NFL license and have renewed it since. 2k recognized reality and put those same football guys on the basketball game which is, of course, the game you claim to be the best out there. I really just wish your loyalty to a shitty brand could be put aside and viewed objectively. People STILL create roster updates for every season for 2k5, because the game engine was that good.

Dark Souls 2 is totally bitchen.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive is being added to my list as well. Although Source is was already on my list, I didn't add CS GO because I didn't really get into it when it first came out. But they've added a lot new content, fixed matchmaking and cheaters, and have really polished the game up. And there is still more to come.

I did play the expansion, I don't think I finished it. I got burned out after a while. The game can be brutal when you're unlucky and I lost my share of brave men when the odds were on my side.

Guy I stole from has a shitty mobile connection and barely plays the game, UOF is a PvP shard and he pretty much stopped playing and plays two other trammy shards because of this. I decided to install UO again in november and he logged into UOF for the first time in a year or so.
They introduced meta pets (tamer 4 lyfe) that you level a few years ago, I got one and didn't play for a few years, turns out it was one of maybe 5 on the server for a few years, and they're pretty valuable even now.
I offer to level his steed for him, it's just a macro where I ran around the world with the thing autokilling the nearest grey, turns out this leveling is a bitch and it took maybe a few hundred hours of doing this, i'm glad I have multiple monitors.
The initial trade went fine, he gave me his pet first and I gave him mine as deposit.. for some stupid reason you can't safe trade pets, taking any other item as a deposit would have been a safer option, but he trusts me.
Trading between "evolution stages" or whatever it's called resets back to 0xp at that level, so a stage 5 with 1499999 would be a silly thing to trade.
A few days ago I finished the grind off.. I was a bit pissed that he valued my time at 0, he hadn't offered anything in return even though i'd hinted at wanting something small. He trades my pet back to me and "I ban thee" cya later alligator. I could have taken this pet months ago and robbed his house blind too, this wasn't a calculated scam but rather a midnight jolly.

I now have stolen goods, and it's time to find a buyer. The guild is pissed as you'd expect and i'm tempted to make a new toon and turn my old one into a dirty red or something... that will take a couple hundred hours and i'll need to be clever to hide my iDENTity.. maybe take up roleplaying or something. Buying donation coins with $ to purchase this pet would be around $1000 worth.

I find it very difficult to stop playing Fifa in lieu of a different game. Red Dead did it for me. Spiderman as well. but I can't imagine many others being in that category.
