Since it appears to be a heavily talked about topic on the forums, the new poll regards what type of music you like the most. The options are necessarily meant to be specifically what they seem...but moreso to represent the genre that they fit into.

I'm going with Eminem. I don't really know what to say as to why...other than I like his shit...

While clean feces is a desirable trait to look for regarding humans in general, I don't think it affects musical ability as much. I'll agree though, if this was a cleanest feces poll, she's go above Eminem.

I have to go with the beastie boys, i am not a big RHCP, or beatles fan, and the rest of the bands dont even compare to the beastie boys.

I personally own 12 beasite boys cd's. The beastie boys are the greatest band ever and will be the greatest band forever. No other band is even comparable.

I'm going with Eminem simply because he is so incredibly talented, and he worked his ass off to get where he is. You cannot, not respect him. A white person making it this big in rap, you'd think it was impossible. Also every song he writes I like. So yeah...

the beatles are probably the most influential band ever... the only other band I've heard intellegently argued to be more influential is zeppelin, but if you read interviews with page and/or plant, they even cite the beatles as influencial. if it weren't for the beatles, music today would be decades behind where it is.

Although Charles Manson (mass murderer) blames the Beatles White Album for making him demented because it has "subliminal messages in it". Paul McCartney actually had to go to court and testify that it didn't.

So there is a possibility that the Beatles were responsible for a few dozen deaths.

I must say that the beatles are definately the cornerstone of all that is music. Led Zeppelin is rock music, they rule my world. But as far as what i listen to the most, i'd have to go with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, i don't even have enough time to write what i think about them...

The Chili Peppers are amazing. The Beatles were probably second, but about 90% of the time, it's a Chili Pepper's cd that's in my stereo.

even though i like some of the beatles music...it's just too old, i would rather listen to new music like eminem. He has insane talents as a rapper and talks about the kind of shit that is great. most rappers talk about themselves and the girls they want, the girls they can't have, being a pimp and what not. eminem...he talks about smoking some weed, fucking some bitches up, and kicking the ass out of people. what more do you want from a genius.

I would also have to go with Eminem. He is one of the best rappers ever, and a lot of people can relate to what he talks about.

Yeah, he may talk about that in some of his songs...Most of his songs have alot more depth to them than that though...he speaks his mind, how he's feeling about things. what he sees, what he has been through in life...yeah alot more than smokin weed, kickin ass, fuckin bitches..

my opinion is that Eminem has no talent - - a few lucky breaks and some good connections...not bashing eminem in anyway. myself, not being a rap fan, have respect for few rappers, i mean the guy bashes everything and anything under the sun instead of writing meaningful lyrics the guy writes about killing his mother and his wife, i dont find that kosher in anyway...
