UB is playing in the Main Event today (Day 1c) as is FFB player TheSexyGun.

My first day is Sunday (Day 1d).

Unlike last year, hopefully one (if not all) of us will make it out of day 1 alive.

Blinds start at 250/500 with 50 ante.

UB has 42k
SexyGun 48k
I have 86k

I had a top 10 stack for the last half of the day until 10 minutes from the end when I lost an 80-20 on the river for 40k... ouch...

FYI, I didn't mean this to be a fuck, I was curious! I was telling a bunch of guys at work that a Fantasy football joke can actually make good in the WSOP!!! J/soK!

This excites me. We have 3 Nubblieites moving onto day 2 of the WSOP. I'm curious to know how you prepare to stay up the hours you need to, (UB). Felix, what do you do to pass the time? Do you go back and watch WSOP actions, or do you rest? Maybe a new topic for both of you as to how you are spending your time. If I were you guys, I would get hammered tonight and try and sleep til very late!

We play from noon til 1 am each day, so it's not that long during the day. When not playing, I try doing things I don't normally do. UB and I went to play a Par 3 course yesterday and got dinner and beer. I've tried to get 9-10 hours of sleep per night. I cleaned my apartment today, which I knew would take up a good chunk of the day.

gross in that your opponent should of never been in the hand? It was a hefty pre-flop raise maybe not so much to push him out though. The way you guys made it sound I figured you got beat post-flop.

I believe that is incorrect. Final table is a day or 2 after they get down to 9 players. They have done this for the past 4 years. Last 2 years the final table was on PPV.

Shaw they changed it this year, the final table is November 9th I think. They wanted to do like a "almost live" final type deal. They're going to do a final table preview show as well.

As an update Cory is up to 347k in chips at dinner break. There are 733 players left and I believe that 666 place. The average chip count might be 170ish but that's just a guestimate so suffice to say UB is whipping some ass. By the way minimum pay out is $21,000+.
