This February, I'm going to remove an item from unhealthy lifestyle each week and in week 4, I will combine them all together.

Week 1 - no beer.

Anybody going to join in with me?

I've been fighting the pudgy mid 20's for a few years now, and I'm finally beginning to win the battle. One month won't do shit. You need a permanent lifestyle change. Taiwan has been good for me in that regard. My diet has improved, and I'm running or lifting weights every night.

It all has to start somewhere. I'm not good with snap changes. I'm a progressive adjuster.

No beer for Super Bowl will be an ouch. But other drinks are allowed. Beer's caloric value is why it's being removed.

1.5oz of 80 proof liquor = 96 calories
which is the equivalent of...
~14oz of Bud Select (4.3% ABV) = ~115 calories

So, at best, you're saving 19 calories for the same amount of alcohol...assuming you're mixing with something that has 0 calories.

And, of course, it won't fill you up as much as the beer...so you'll probably end up drinking more.

In short: The problem here isn't the beer. It's the alcohol. If you're going to be a bear, be a grizzly. Give up alcohol for the week. Have a sober Superbowl.

Being a vegetarian doesn't help you lose weight. Remember Bloodyfart? He was a vegetarian and was fat as fuck; in fact most vegetarians I know are fat as fuck.

You should change week 2 to "Don't eat junk foot like a fat fuck."

Not eating meat, but am eating fish. I guess I'm a pescatarian or w/e a veg that eats fish. Dodging meat is really hard. I had no idea how much food contains meat.
