He kind of sucks at the internet, so I can't see him coming here and even knowing how to register let alone actively post even on one thread, but if anybody has any questions i'd be happy to fwd them onto him and post the replies here.
Things I know: He did a two-week trip for less than 2grand, including lodging, gear, meals, and sherpa service. Obviously he might have had to buy some other random stuff for the trip (boots, coat etc.) not factored into that. It was really, really fucking cold. |

How safe/doable is hiking to Base Camp in general? Do you need to be in elite shape to succeed, or can someone with an average level of fitness make it?
How dangerous is it? Can you describe some of the major dangers/concerns one should have? How long does it take? How long did you stay at Base Camp? |
