What do you guys do with your free time?

Now, it's no secret I spend shitloads of time on the internet. It's something i'm working on, but even when I limit myself, I don't see a lot of you guys. So what is it you do? I mean I consider myself a pretty social guy, but since i've come to Korea that has gone down a LOT, compared to my time in college and Arizona. Still, I managed to get a lot accomplished out and about. And still post a lot of shit online.

So, what is it you guys do in your free time? This is a genuine question.

I really need a hobby, too. I feel like I waste a shit load of time just fucking around doing nothing. I spend a lot of time studying, which I don't really enjoy, but I enjoy doing well in school. My house is also pretty much a shit hole, so I spend a lot of time trying to get the smell of cat piss/shit out...I fucking hate my cats, why won't they shit in the box??? I'm also trying to get back into working out, but that's not going really great right now. I probably waste way too much time playing video games as well. That's something I'd like to remove from my life.

Being in Korea, I really don't have any suggestions for you. I've always enjoyed running as a hobby. It might be a good way for you to get out and see some areas that you haven't seen yet. At the very least, it makes you feel fucking great. Once you get into shape it's pretty rewarding to continue pushing yourself beyond previous thresholds of edurance.

OP wasn't me saying how bored and uncreative I am, please give me advice for things to do, especially you, whose life I dream of emulating. It was half an inquiry into why the fuck nobody seems to post much of anything, and half an serious inquiry as to what members on the site spend a majority of your time actually doing (Mistoffolees, Kremlin, and DJ FC all picked up on this). Not for a list of things you do "sometimes", and certainly not for you to condescend to me with bullshit like "you need a hobby, little guy." Which brings me to the next part of the fuck you:

Who exactly are you trying to impress with that lengthy and undoubtedly exaggerated list of freetime activities? Hiking, eh? I don't know fuck all about hiking, Repug. Please, tell me more. I know when I think of you, it's a picture of you getting up at 6AM to hike a fucking mountain, come back, fuck your girlfriend, study two languages, work for 8 hours with kindergarten kids, not be tired at all, not peruse the internet for a couple hours reading random articles, because fuck that. That's too plebeian. When you get home i'm sure you write a few thousand page articles, on the book you just read (in one day), before playing a few games of chess (with who, exactly? Or did you mean online chess? Which equates to fucking around on the internet?) and then going out to try a new restaurant you heard of from your hip friends in the in-crowd. On the way home, on a romantic bike ride with your girlfriend, you happen upon several youths playing basketball, and invite yourself in. Given your obvious outward propensity for basketball talent, they of course let you play, you probably even teach them a few new tricks. When you finally arrive back home, you decide to mellow out with some video games on your DS before, because hey, what a full day! You deserve it!

Right now it's bjj and messing around with guitar stuff. I really running, but I've been out of that for a while. It's peculiar to me that I've never been hurt while sparring/training, but will get jacked up while running.

I've been spending a lot of my free time burning through movies on Netflix and I picked back up my highschool hobby, playing Magic the Gathering. Its been a lot of fun, I've met some really cool people, and I've been doing pretty well buying and selling cards on the side. In a lot of respects its like a more predictable and slower moving version of the stock market.

I've been trying my hand at major tournaments with a couple of close finishes (close being finishing just outside top 8 in 150+ person tournaments). If I had more time to play, I imagine I would put up better performances in these large tournaments and start bringing home the larger prizes (usually $2-3000 or airfare to the next Pro Tour location ... latest qualifying season was for Amsterdam).

I lift weights and run 4-5 times a week usually right after I get off work. Week-ends I usually get outside and go on the lake or go out with friends to have a few drinks. I spend a lot of free time working on my work which is kind of unfortunate but I enjoy what I do so its not so bad.

I've spent a lot of time reading about investing since I'm saving a lot of money right now. I also spend long hours on the internet and watching sports. Trying to plan my next few vacations also gives me something to look forward too.
