I should populate this space with the following:

- Going to Amsterdam on 12/30 for New Years
- London on 1/1 for a few nights, hopefully through the 6th to meet up with thekremlin who gets back on the 5th. FC any chance you'll be in town?
- Vienna on 1/7 for a couple nights
- Paris on 1/9 or 1/10 for a night or two before flying home

A few classmates are going. It was kind of impulsive opting in but I didn't have any other plans for winter break* and thought it sounded cool so decided to join.

* FC had generously invited me along to Miami and Key West with a contingent of his friends including thekremlin over New Years and for the week after. If there weren't switching costs involved I might be swayed to just go do that instead. Shoulda thought it through more.

I didn't actively invite anybody. All were welcome. All you had to was ask. UBs roommate is one of my oldest friends and I kind of expected he'd come.

Changed the Vienna leg of this to Lisbon for 5 nights where I arrived yesterday with sinisterkid and a female classmate of ours. Sitting in a cafe here now. Cool city on the water with great climate and cheap prices since their economy is shit.

Before leaving London I met up with thekremlin for lunch. We went to a French cafe near his apartment. I was the most hungover I've been in at least a year and he was on zero sleep having just gotten back into the UK hours before from holiday in the U.S. So we were each only about half functional but managed to have a nice encounter. It was a pleasure as was meeting Yoshi the parrot. Hopefully we can do it again soon sometime under better cognitive conditions.
