This doesn't really compare two subjects, but just a thought. If, for one day, all of the 'rules' of society were lifted, police, courts, whatever, were all shut down for a day and you could not be prosecuted or held responsible for what you did during that 24 hour time period, what would you do? What would you do during that entire 24 hour period? Would you go about the day as if it were the same, or would you kill, rape, or pillage people??

I'd probably just chill. The fact that we have laws in this country restricting me from doing certain things, certainly isn't the reason I don't do them. I don't do them for the same reason people made them laws, I know it will ultimately cause harm.

There are actually a few people I would kill. Not in the "walk up and shoot them in the head" way, but I'd make it seem natural, so people wouldn't want to come after me. But then even if they did eventually find out it was me, they couldn't do anything because it was on that day.

I'd fill up on gas. I might pay, who knows?

I'm with you combat, I'd be stealing shit for literally 24 hours a day. I'd probably first off rob a gun store and get decked out with a weapon and I'd probably go to ft. wayne and rob that knife store in the mall and steal a huge ass sword, then I'd go around robbing everything.

I've wanted to loot since the Rodney King riots so that would be first on my to-do list. I'd skip the beer and get a handle of rotgut, then I would have no problem killing anyone who stood in my way.

Schroeder, "rotgut" is a slang term used to describe any of a number of strong, cheap alcohol... in this case bourbon. Fine examples of rotgut include, but are not limited to... Jeremiah Weed, Wild Turkey, Harper's, Old Crow, and Mellow Mash.
