I hope I don't seem insensitive or anything, but this is just retarded (this post goes along with the one Malibu made about being raped while under the influence).

funny you add this, i was just readin this article in the paper.

i cant belive the parents think that they can blame this on the road being in bad conditions when his BAC was twice the legal limit.

It seems like you are tackling two different subjects here. Drinking and stupid-ass lawsuits.

I don't see what's so CRAZY about that article. Does it surprise you that parents of a son that died on the road would sue the people that made the road? I don't see how it could, especially after we've all heard of the person that sued McDonald's for "making him fat". That's one of the worst things with our nation right now, people pushing off responsibility and people throwing out lawsuits left and right. It's made us a nation of pussies.

Something you need to realize is that some people drink so stupid shit DOES happen to them. Whatever. That's always going to happen even despite of your condescending warnings. Driving while drunk is stupid as hell, however, and not cool in the least. I feel sorry for the kid, because everyone makes mistakes and it's too bad he paid such a high price for his. But that's no excuse for his parents to try and blame others.

man it sucks to hear about any teen death like that but the fact remains its not the countys fault he doubled the bac and the oxycotin is what gets me under the influence of pills like that totally delay your reflexes and mixed with alchol thats just stupidity i hope people learn from shit like this
