This past Monday, Dec. 26th. Saw Brently warming up on the bike. Holy fuck is he fat. I'd say he is about 220, AT LEAST. No joke. I have pictures to prove it.

But, he's a good training partner and he helped me wiht Bravo's crazy stuff. The class was awesome and Eddie Bravo has some very cool stuff I had never seen. Brently and I rolled twice, the first time fo about 10 minutes and the last for 5 or so. We rolled even and had some good sweeps and reversals. He did wear sking tight vale tudo shorts to roll, so that was creepy. But otherwise he didn't touch my ass or anything, so it was cool.

Then, at teh end of class I rolled with Eddie Bravo. OH FUCK. I was his bitch. That skinny little fiucker tapped me either a million or 1.5 million times in 5 minutes or so. He was crazy felxible and never lets go of any grip. Crazy. Great experience.

I was just kidding about the book...when I decide to learn some serious no-gi JJ, I'll train with someone who actually won the ADCC, like Leo Vieira or Marcelo Garcia

say what you want about Eddie, but it was one of the best no gi classes I have done, and I plan to go back next week if I can. He has a specific skill set that he teaches and focuses on and it works well. I had to change my game on the spot while rolling with his guys.

Plus, that little freak tapped me all over the place. I figured wit no gi, I could have at least powered out of shit I knew was coming.
