Quentin Tarantino's new movie is do out soon. After just recently seeing Pulp Fiction and hearing great things about Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown (thanks tonguegina), I've got to admit, I'm excited to see it. From the previews it looks like it might have a lot of martial arts in it, which would be a big difference from the usual Tarantino masterpiece. I can't wait to see the strange twists and turns and great plot that he has put into this movie.

Well, seeing as how I watched Reservoir Dogs today for about the third time, I say that you should watch it. Now.
I too am looking forward to this movie, however, I've heard little to nothing about it, except that it was Uma Thurman, and is about a woman getting revenge on her husband. But with Tarantino's name attached to it, you know that even if it isn't good in Tarantino standards, it'll probably be one of the best movies of the year. Downside? It'll be long. And it won't be a full movie. There are two parts, and it took long enough for Tarantino to make the first part. I'm not sure if he has the second part in the bag and is just waiting foran extended release date or not, but I hope we don't have to wait as long for that one as we did for Kill Bill Pt. 1. Either way, I'm there opening night. |

In other news, it had an 8 month shoot that stretched from Beijing to Tokyo to L.A. to Mexico. It also had a 197 page script and was known by Miramax as a quote "out of control project". [ September 22, 2003, 12:56 AM: Message edited by: tonguegina ] |
