Heres a question, it is one of those questions that doesn't really have an answer, but I am going to bitch anyway. Why the fuck don't I talk to anyone I grew up with anymore, it sucks. There are two people I still talk to that I grew up with, Pliedes and The Butcher, and I love these guys don't get me wrong, I'm glad I'm still friends with these guys, but there are so many more people who, well I'm not really sure what I am trying to say actually. There is tonguegina and ugly bastard, I guess thats pretty much my fault we don't do anything anymore, but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck. Then there is Active, I talked to you like a month ago on the phone, that was the first time I had talked to you since lunch the last day I was in high school, that was in 2002. That was the last time I talked to Lethal too. Dirty Harry that was probably the last time I saw you too. I mean doesn't it just suck that you grow away from people, it does suck, it just sucks.

I know, I know. But that does suck ass doesn't it. Shouldn't it be the people I've known my whole life thus far be the ones I know for the rest of my life. I mean seriously its just fucked up. Everyone I hung out with in High School, I either live right next door to them my whole life, or went to elementary school with. Now everyone I hang out with is people I hardly know from Chicago, which isn't bad, there are some pretty cool people here. I guess it just comes back to that fact that it sucks the way life works.

I know how you feel, dude. I'm in the same boat. I haven't seen some of my best friends from highschool since the last day of highschool. And a few of my best friends that I actually get to see now and then are married. MARRIED!! Why anyone would get married at 20 beats the hell out of me. When I talk about my friends, I hate using the phrase "his wife". I don't know.. maybe I'm just an asshole, but it just bugs the shit out of me. Guess we are just gonna have to see everyone at class reunions.

I guess so. Its just weird like you said having friends getting married and shit, and friends that live all over the country, its weird having people ask when a good time to come visit MY HOUSE, that even fucks me up a little. I don't know man.

We still believe.

Yeah I know what you are saying. I am not ready to become a full-blown adult yet and have my career and wife and possibly kids. Actually I don't want to have kids, anyway, it is strange. And the even stranger thing is we will be having a five year reunion in just a few years. Some guys on the board even sooner.

I guess so man, but I have just been thinking about it man. Do you think it sucks? Because at the same time I'm thinking its kinda cool as hell, because the new people I'm meeting are cool as hell too, and I guess really more like me, so I think it kinda sucks, but its kinda cool too.

I know what you mean George. I just went to IU and saw some good friends from highschool (and other people that I could care less if I saw again). It was great, but then we all had to leave and probably won't see each other again for a long time. It does suck. I see it like this: things change as life progresses. That doesn't mean the friendship has to change. For example, although I rarely see those guys anymore, I would still consider all of them best friends, and that's not gonna change. Yeah, it does kind of suck that we don't hang out all the time like we did back in highschool, but they have their lives' to live, and I have mine.

whenever I want to see someone I went to school with, I simply belly up to the bar at Time Out. It's like a fucking high school reunion every weekend. When I lived in warsaw I hated it, but now that I'm out I go every chance I get.
