brief background...
i live in a building owned by my family and take care of any tenant related issues/ rentals/ real estate agencies.
the guy upstairs from gave notice that he was moving out this month. i knew he was a slob so i left him a couple messages asking to make sure he had all of his stuff moved out by the 1st of sept.
i went into the apt last night and was completely appalled by what i saw. it looked like crackheads squatted there and then abandoned it. he left half of his shitty ass smell furniture , tons of food, standing defrost-water in the fridge, a crusted over stovetop and about 4 full garbage bags. floors and carpets are ruined and littered with dirty laundry.
the air conditioner was left on and dripping INTO the apt. this caused water damage in MY apartment below.

the worst part: we didnt take a security deposit as a favor to a priest who was the pres of my HS. it was his nephew.
now i get to hunt this guy down and extort a large but FAIR fee for the cleanup and disposal.

i'll post pics later when we take them. you will be shocked that a $1000/ mo, 650 sf apt can look this bad.
