I'm so damn tired about hearing all about the flu vaccine shortage. People are resorting to heading to Mexico and Canada to get vaccines. Seriously, if getting the flu is that much of a risk to you then please, please, just die. Just let natural selection run it's course. Giving someone a flu vaccine just so they can stay alive another week and a half is asinine.

People seriously need to stop worrying about getting a flu vaccine. Perfectly healthy people are shiting themselves waiting in line to get them. The only people who need a flu vaccine are people with severly weakened immune systems, and the people who work with such people (doctors and nurses). Everybody needs to quit fucking complaining, stop being selfish, take one for the fucking team, and cough for a week so that somebody who actually can't afford the flu can get a flu shot.

I have to say I agree with Beebs. I mean my immune system isnt that great, but I would rather it go to some one with worse health, they need it more than I do, plus it would be a whole week with no one bothering me.(of course I'd be miserable, but you win some and you lose some)

What a sissy statement. "Take one for the fucking team," do you think I give a fuck if some Joe Schmoe gets a flu shot? No.

The real solution is to allow the market to determine the price of a flu shot... then by definition there would be no shortage!

If you don't value the flu shot as much as others, then you wont get one.

I trust the free market, the companies that make the vaccines know that it is far better over the long run to make sure the people who need the vaccines get them. If you behave remotely ethically, you will not get a flu shot if you are not at risk.
