Fuck, I hate losing 116 dollars in one damn hand, especially when you have the nut full house, only to be beaten by a fucking straight flush.

I feel the same way about pool sometimes when I am trying to shark and have had too much to drink, like the other night. I left with a dollar and no vagina.

I am dealt QQ on the button.

UTG limps, UTG+1 (LAG player) bets out $6, it folds around to me. I make it $18. UTG folds, UTG+1 calls and says, "I think we're in a race."
(pot=41)
Flop comes Qh 10s 6h He fires out $20 (which is a dream for me) I bump it up to $60 which he smooth calls. (pot=161)

Turn comes 10h He pushes for his remaining 38 bucks, I immediately call and say "i'll pay off quads." He says, "I don't have quads, I just got a flush." and turns over Jh9h. (pot=237)

And he hits the 8h on the river to give him his straight flush, and that was that.

yep, it sucks, nothing you can really do about it.

I hate bad beat stories, but I felt like ranting.

I love that call 95% of the time on his part.

Made 200 bucks in a cash game tonight, I've found a pretty soft game that I'll be playing in regularly.
