I'm tired of homosexuals destroying society. The audacity they have in demanding equal rights is appalling, and frankly it's getting old. Give me the good old days when we could openly intimidate and even assault these monstrosities. I mean really, they're not even people.

Good old fashioned traditional values are under attack by these anomalies. Imagine if we allowed gays to legally marry and adopt children and start families of their own, it would be a catastrophe! We're actually strengthening families by not allowing homosexuals to start ones. I hear foster homes are really nice these days anyway, kids should be so lucky.

In my infinite kindness I actually approached a few gay men to tell them how disgusting they are, but I was distracted by them objectifying me, and so worried about them forcing themselves on me that I couldn't concentrate on what they said. Heterosexual men never do that. I walked away thankful I still had my virginity (I'm waiting for marriage because it says to in the Bible).

Speaking of the Bible, let's not forget that it, the ultimate source of truth and unquestionable authority, tells us that homosexuality is immoral. Never mind it's between two consenting adults, and never mind it doesn't hurt anybody, and never mind they've existed since at least the 1980's, God says he's not down with the girl on girl guy on guy action, and that's good enough for me. It's like a man making love to a donkey, there's absolutely no difference, and I'm sorry but that's gross.

So what now? As I stare out my window I see the world in shambles, ruined by this perversion. But I'm not without hope. Everyone knows the best way to change something you don't like is to do it by force. I propose the following solution:

We round up all the homosexuals and put them into sexuality reconfiguration clinics. There they will undergo vigorous training and conditioning exercises. Lesbians will be made to grow out their hair, wear makeup and do girly things that normal women enjoy, like dishes and laundry. The men will be forced to drink beer and watch football and grope the occasional breast. I'm almost jealous. And to show just how compassionate we are, once they're fixed, we'll allow them back into society, where they can act like their gender is suppose to. The muzzles will come off after 6 months good behavior.

I know what you're thinking, and you're right, I am genius. I feel like the love child of George Bush and Pat Robertson (I should be so lucky), and as I march on in to rid the world of this bane I ask you to join me on my quest as a compassionate bigot.

On a serious note I have no problem with gay people, I really don't have an opinion one way or another on gay marriage. I do however have a major problem with them adopting children, I just do not believe a child should be adopted by two gay men or women. If they want it so bad then just go fucking conceve (sp?).

are you against adoption as a whole? I kinda get out of this discussion by saying that I dont like outwardly homo or hetero's, i dont mind gays doing whatever they want to do in private.

If gays want to be together, so be it. I've always hated the I'm-gay-for-the-attention-type. While I do not agree that kids should be raised by a homosexual couple, I do think that many of them are likely to be better parents than hundreds of millions that already have given birth.

And let's be honest here, to those of you opposed to gays adopting children, the real issue is that you still think that they will be "turned", am I not right? Nature vs. nurture argument aside, I think it's safe to say that there are a lot of gay parents out there looking to just raise a child in the best way possible, not "turn them gay"

A same sex family would definitely put the kid in an awkward position growing up. Can you imagine being 15 years old playing JV basketball and your parents are two homosexual men. Being that homosexuality has been around since pretty much the beginning of time, and that it's been accepted by cultures all over the world as perfectly normal, I don't see how one can classify what's normal and what isn't. That's like saying one culture is normal and one isn't. If you're talking about American culture, then you're really talking about the collection of many cultures. Even much of Pre-Columbian Native America considered homosexuality as normal. The fact that I don't love dudes rubbing their tight, sweaty, glistening, muscled, tan, adonis bodies all over me, doesn't make it any less "normal."

There was a time when interracial couples were just as unaccepted. Sooner or later the stigma will be dropped, and our children's children's children will be looking back at how intolerant their ancestors were.

Wouldn't it be a great wonderful world if there were no gender roles and all men were brought up to be affeminate and we could live together in peace, harmony, and everyone was gay? Its so frustrating that I can't just lie down and have a cuddle and a good long talk, whispering and giggling and telling secrets to my best friend. Obviously I side with BDH on this one. I think it's much better for children and society as a whole to keep them in foster homes than to let two loving parents of the same sex raise them. I mean seriously, can you just imagine how awkward they would feel when a bunch of homophobic bigots saw who their parents are!? I don't know about the growing up thing. I don't know anybody (obviously, and won't for a while) who was brought up by same sex parents, but hopefully by the time that happens society will be less....gay about it. It definitely brings a challenge to traditional roles but exactly like Ironic said...so have many things that are not a cultural norm...blacks as equals, women voting and working, premarital sex being a lot more prevalent...all of these things eventually phase out as our society becomes more advance. Even ten-twenty years ago, we already are looking back and seeing how intolerant society was of homosexuals back then. Now I see them all the time, I don't give a fuck, i don't think anybody else does either. Just more people.


Plus, how many times have any of us been embarrassed by our parents when we were in middle school/highschool anyways? It's a phase thing, and like I said, hopefully the world is more tolerant by then to not make such a big deal out of it. We can all agree we are influenced by our parents for a large portion of our growing life, but I don't think that applies to sexual preference, and I would say I am much more different than I am of my parents. Everybody is their own person.
