I think it would be nice to have a RotD thread where we can post smallish rants that don't quite warrant creating a new thread for (similar to the way SCotD works). I'll start.

I went to the post office today to mail a large envelope. The automatic postage dispensing machine just inside the entrance was out of order. Fuck. That means I have to wait in the long ass line where just one postal worker is tending the counter.

That in and of itself was easily enough to put me on tilt, but it got much, much worse. A man ahead of me in line would just not stop talking. I mean, he would just not stop. He rambled and rambled and rambled about anything and everything. Most of it was fairly nonsensical, so I think he might have been retarded or something. I took a 30 second video of this man to show you what I mean. Have a look:

Pretty annoying right? Imagine listening to it for 15 minutes straight. Then imagine that when it was this man's turn at the counter, it was revealed to him by the postal worker that while he was rambling, there was a bunch of paperwork he could have been filling out in order to mail his letter. Then imagine that rather than ask him to step aside and fill out the paperwork, the postal worker allowed him to fill it out right there while everyone else waited, which took a long time of course because he's retarded. While you have to imagine these things, I actually got to live it out in person today. I didn't have to imagine it, because it really happened to me.
