Pendulum's latest album.
http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/3...800x600ah4.jpg I really enjoyed their first album released in 2005, Hold Your Colour, so I've been anticipating the release of In Silico for a while now. The two albums are definitely different. At the time when the first album as being produced and released, Pendulum consisted of only 3 guys. Half the songs were done completely by the trio and the other half were collaborations between the trio and several independent artists. With their latest showing, In Silico, they now have 6 band members. The latest album has a bit more rock sound to it while still maintaining the Drum and Bass sound they are known for. I like this album. Check out http://www.myspace.com/officialpendulum to hear some samples. |

Rocky Soundtrack- Every song!
Joking aside. Trenton Plummer is rocking some good solo stuff. Let me know if you want to listen. I have a couple songs. He is a WCHS grad that had a heart transplant. His love for music was before the all the symptoms happenened. He loves music more then anything and he has put it to the forefront. Some might like, some might not, but he has alot of talent. He does own my ringtone right now, I couldn't be happier!!! |

finally was able to get the album tonight. very fucking cool. sounds a lot like innerpartysystem, which I believe you also posted on here. What would you name this type of genre, ninja? powerpopelectrorock? |
Don't think many 'hardcore' fans like it, seeing as its hardly dnb.
|
yeah, but they can blow me.
|
HCW is totally right. But they aren't the same band they used to be nor is it the same album.
Blonde, as far as their genre goes I have no idea. They list themselves as "Drum & Bass / Rock / Electronica" on their myspace. So thats good enough for me. |

Blonde, I haven't downloaded anything from the last few pages, due to not knowing the band names, and assuming theyre shitty semi-underground myspace bands.
Should I give these songs a listen, or? |

You should at least give them a listen. I realize that everyone is probably too lazy to download something before hearing it, including myself, because why would I download something without hearing it first, which is why I have provided convenient links to their pages. As Active stated, it has nothing to do with the fact the links are Myspace, besides the fact that its a ridiculously awesome tool for finding out about/listening to songs from new bands, especially going through the "top friends" area of a bands page, which usually lists other, less well-known bands that are similar in style to a particular band you already like. I'm a ridiculous fan of music, and apparently unlike the rest of the charlatans who claim the same thing, taking a few minutes of my day to check out a completely random band to see if I like them or not isn't that big of a sacrifice to me. If you don't like the music, i could give a shit less. People have me check out music all the time, and more than half of it I don't like. But it could be the best band you've ever heard for all you know; pretty ignorant not to give it a shot. For most people,if its not on the radio, MTV or Ministry of Sound its just not good enough. Shame. For example, Ninja only liked Ocelot, but assume that he listened to the others as well in order to come across the judgment that they "kinda sucked", but at least he has the character to check them out. So yes, you should at least listen to them. A few of them are British anyways. |
