Sure it has its fair share of hippy treehugger bullshit politics, but some very useful information. |

There is a website called Scribd where you can "Easily Upload, Share, and Promote Your Documents Online". The website might have some usefulness to some of you. But at the bottom of this post is a link of badassedness. I couldn't post it as just a regular hyperlink for some reason, so you'll have to copy and paste that link into your browser. Once you do that, you'll see pictures of some dude that got attacked by piranhas. NSFW.

Great Post Ninja -- I especially liked this part: "Another Christmas, my Mom beat me and my sister for putting socks in the clothes hamper that should have been folded and put away. Socks ruined Christmas that year." It's actually not funny at all, considering I didn't include the part from that girl's post where she talked about her dad committing suicide. Nonetheless, I couldn't help but laugh at the part about the socks.

Quote:
"Two Christmases ago my parents, my ex-boyfriend, and our dogs travelled to Canada to spend Christmas with my grandmother. A few days after we got there one of our dogs was acting slightly ill, having intestinal problems. We took her to the vet on Christmas Eve and he said she had ingested a small amount of poison. The vet gave her some vitamins and told us she should be fine. That night, at midnight, she bled to death out of every orifice. " Entitled "Our dog died under the Xmas tree". I'm sorry, but the orifice part made me cry laughing... - - - - Edit: I'm reading more...lots of suicides around the holidays... "The excitement was great on Christmas Eve, as this was payday and bonus day. When we came to work, the management gathered all the day and night shift workers together. Everyone seemed so happy -- so this was what the holidays were about. The announcement came across the loudspeaker. There was to be no bonus and we were all laid off. Some people cursed, most were just shocked. There were grown men crying. Then we were told not to all cash our checks at once because some of them might bounce. " Maybe I'm just up too late, but I can't stop laughing right now. Each one is funnier than the last... The misery of others really does make me feel better! | |

Just one more, I swear.
"About 17 years ago I married a woman I loved very much but she had a son from a previous marriage. We didn't get along too well. He was the kind of person who would be an asshole just to get a rise out of you. For a while we all did OK, then last fall she developed a crack habit. When Christmas rolled around I was enjoying a nice bottle of '86 Bordeaux to celebrate and she walked up behind me and hit me with a plate of water crackers. In a daze, I started to fight back and hit her son on accident. She fell onto our glass coffee table and cut her eyes so badly she's nearly blind now. She pressed charges and her shithead son testified that I stabbed her eyes out with a goddamned corkscrew. They believed him and are taking 17 years of my life. I've never been a violent person, but if I ever get out of here I am going to take his eyes and make him eat them." Sorry, I'm done now. |
