In a world full of Twilight fag vampires, there existed a time when I would have said the same thing of True Blood sympathizers. That was before I watched the show, though. Now that I'm a watcher, I see the world through the eyes of faith. Faith in the fact that not all vampires are faggots.

Considering the fact that you're just looking at the world through normal eyes, I'm not terribly surprised that you would think we seem like homos.

Vampires are fucking awesome. True Blood is a good show. Its not a comedy. Its a campy soap opera. Its excellent.

I highly recommend the following vampire movies in no particular order:

Interview with the Vampire
Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Nosferatu the Vampyre

I just watched the first two episodes of True Blood and all I have to say is... wow!

Now you guys seem like even bigger faggots to me.

This show almost couldn't have been any more disappointing. Granted, my expectations were really high, but the first two episodes didn't even come close. Sookie is mopey and uninteresting, they did next to nothing to piqué my curiosity in the vampire, and the setting, my god the setting, sleepy, rural Louisiana at night. The only thing this show has going for it is that hot waitress.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by the absolute masterpieces that are The Wire, Mad Men, and to a bit of a lesser extent, Entourage. I watched an episode of Sex in the City with my girlfriend the other night for the first time. I certainly didn't expect to like it, but I did think that I'd at least get why women like it. It was horrible!! I have no clue why even women like that show. The plot is mind-numbing and Sarah Jessica Parker is a jaw-droppingly bad actress. I was honestly shocked. I kept thinking, "this is Sex in the City?!" It was hard for me to see how even the most shi-shi-poo-poo of women could find it appealing, and in the same way, I have no idea what you homos see in True Blood.

I'll give it 2-4 more episodes to change my mind, but my hopes are not high with what the first two hours brought.

This last episode of the 3rd season was good. I like seeing Eric making his moves against the King of Missisipi.

^ Just finished that episode and officially completed my journey to be caught up. Fucking loved Eric staking Talbot (had to look up his name). Shit is shaping up to be badass.

Season 3 blew complete ass for the first 3 or 4 episodes, but it's really coming back now.

In other news, I wish to fuck they wouldn't have killed Godric way back when. I loved that motherfucker. Absolutely loved him.

Godric was badass, but kind of a pussy as far as vampires go. We get enough of that with Bill. What i REALLY would have liked to have seen, would be Tara actually getting turned, and after that become a vampire hater/killer because of what they did to her, a-la- female Blade, but...that probably won't happen. I hate her character so much.

You guys are such fags. I watched the whole god damn first season. I understand how it sucks you in. You want to know what's going to happen next. The storyline is somewhat compelling, but if you take a step back and look at the show as a whole, you will see that you are, indeed, fags. I don't want to get into anymore detail, because you are all in fag denial, and you can't argue with a fag in denial.

On a brighter note, the second season of Eastbound and Down is set to air on September 26th. Finally a good show on HBO again. I'm sure all you fags have jumped on the Kenny fuckin Powers bandwagon at this point.

Moving on to other quality TV Shows, has anyone watched the Canadian show, Trailer Park Boys? I think there's about 7 seasons out right now and two movies. The newest movies can be found in the new release section of most video stores. Personally, I liked the first movie better, so start with that one if you've never seen the show.

I'm seven episodes in. The last few have been way more intruiging than the first few. I still don't think it's a great show, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Also, I think Bill killed Grandma. I don't see how he could have been in the house if she hadn't invited him in.

UB, I just thought of this this morning; The only reason I got into True Blood in the first place was because I was hooking up with a chick who liked it/we always watched it together at the time. Then after we stopped hanging out I was already hooked. I kinda forgot about this part. So props on taking our word on it.

In other news, I just started the second season of Battlestar Galactica. I like it.
