Do not play this game unless you have hours of your life that you'd like to waste.

I’ve been trolling Nubblies for awhile and have finally decided to start posting again.
http://www.minecraft.net I’m putting this in the kick ass web game of the day because you can play it online, but the downloaded version is probably better. Through trolling Reddit and seeing all the stuff Blonde post on Nubblies, I’ve come across this little gem. Minecraft is a sandbox survival where your character sole purpose is to create and destroy various blocks in a 3D environment. With destroyed “blocks” your character can create various tools, structures and other jazz. After watching a few video’s on Youtube I thought to myself; this looks like a boring game that would take hours to play with 8 bit graphics. Yes the graphics are lame, but it’s crazy fun. Here’s a Youtube video on the game play: The game has one developer that started the project back in ’09. He has already made well over 700,000 dollars on this game that’s still in Alpha. The game is only 12 dollars if you want to play multiplayer or you can always T0rrent FTW. The games size is less than 40 MB. I just started playing this game after work yesterday and before I knew it, I had sunk 3 hours into it. Personally, I’m more of an FPS gamer, but I think you will find Minecraft a pretty interesting game. Links: You’ll want this page to get your craft recipes. The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. |

The trick is to be going insanely fast (1000mph+ while activating the mammoth.) If you do this, you can get Armageddon easy.
