Default The Brothers motherfucking Bloom

Considering it was the best movie of 2009, it gets it's own thread.

No matter how much I kept thinking I knew how it was going to end...I was wrong. This movie is damn near fucking flawless. It's one of the most stylish and poignant films I've ever seen, and an instant favorite. If you don't like this movie, you clearly hate film.

This movie sucked. It was painful to get through and when it finally ended, I said to myself, "well, that was a mistake."

Best movie of 2009 was The Hurt Locker. This piece of trash was nowhere close.

Bullshit. I'm not saying that Hurt Locker wasn't good, it was great. I'm at a loss as to how this movie was anywhere near bad, especially when most movies these days are made with hardly any effort or thought, and are truly flaming piles of shit. Screenwriting with the kinds of in's and out's such as this are a rare gem. There wouldn't be nearly as many shit movies if they put half as much effort into it as Rian Johnson does his movies. Not to mention, the character Bang Bang alone is worth watching (and fantasizing over). Needless to say, I disagree.

UB, have you seen Brick? Because I wouldn't be surprised if you hate it as well. You seem like the non-indie flick type.

The Hurt Locker was an independent film. You seem like the type who likes 'indie flicks' just because some 'big greedy corporation' decided the script was crap. Most of the time they're right.

Fruit I have no idea who you are.

Even after 7 long and painful years on Nubblies.

But most likely you are not half as smart or awesome or right as UB. And I know who he is.

Most likely you're just a poor fucktard listening to emo music.

I think you just like the Hurt Locker because of all the sad sad stories drunk service men tell you at bars
