Tomato cookies
So pal of mine swears he knows how to make cookies out of tomatoes. I donate some tomato as I haven't enjoyed any tomatoes since this August. I'm skeptical about this process as I can't really imagine what these are like. And who'd want cookies that taste like tomatoes? Seems unappealing.
Appears that the tomatoes have to be processed before becoming suitable for cooking. These were made into tomato butter (no clue on how the process works) and then into one big 9 X 12 cookie. So it didn't have big chunks of sundrieds in it --that would've really sucked. It still had a bit of an off flavor but over all just tasted like a shitty cookie. I had forgotten I had eaten the cookie for about 45 minutes. Then I started to understand the fascination with cookies. I've had the "space cake" before in the Netherlands and those really didn't do shit. The cookie had such tomato power that it turns one's mind to mush. I was asleep within an hour of of first noticing that these worked. Powerful stuff. AP says check those out. But go slow and be patient and damn sure don't be driving or out an about. |
Anything where they make it into butter first taste much nicer. You can just sprinkle tomatoes into brownie mix.
They make such things as tomato lollipops and pop now. |
You will experience a different tomato-enjoyment. It is more physical and body-tomato-enjoyment.

Requesting a batch of tomato cookies via mail please.

I had some tomato brownies several years ago that I was similarly disappointed in. About an hour later, lights out.

Once in Amsterdam a friend I was there with ate a couple Space Cakes and :blonde:slept for 19 hours straight:blonde: afterwards.

I have an overnight layover in the Dam on my way to Brazil in February. (This is not, wow, what a lucky layover, but wow, thekremlin is a savvy planner.) I plan on eating some space cakes at the airport and then just floating to Brazil. That's SMART.
