Despite a huge past 2 weeks, no Cavaliers were selected to the all star game, including f3nom Lebron. Included on the list of shaftees, is Carmelo Anthony, who has helped turn the Denver Nuggets into a winning team. It is now apparent that coaches in the NBA are Jews.

wow, fthreelix, you're very quick witted. I am, in fact a huge fan of shaft as you can see by the prominent display of this poster I bought in chicago...
however, if you were implying that I may be homosexual... you're wrong. Sorry, buddy, you'll have to look elsewhere. |

I think Carmello deserved it more than anyone who got the shaft. LeBron had good numbers, but they were not good enough compared to everyone who was chosen before him.

LeBron helped the Cavs win more games before the all star break than they won all last season and posted some of the best all around numbers, not just scoring, but assists and rebounds. He's a marketing goldmine for the NBA and would have brought great ratings to the all star game, if nothing else. The NBA coaches blew this one.

"If Lebron isnt one of the 12 best players in the eastern conference, i need to go visit a pyschitrist."- Bill Walton
That is a quote from a dumbass..i realize that...but he is a negative dumbass and he is giving lebron props...i mean come on...the all star game is about what people want to see, and im sorry i wouldnt watch this game anyways but if lebron played i might watch...but im happier that neither one of them made it...cause it will make the sophomore rookie game that much better...i like that game better anyways |

I agree with Shaw. LeBron and Carmello can shine in the Sphomore vs. Rookie game. The Cavs are also building quite a supporting cast around LeBron. There is a possibilty that LeBron will have the last laugh if his Cavs make the playoffs.

very good point....i watched them last night and im impressed with carlos buzzer or however you spell it...he is tough inside...of course shaq had his way with the other 2 big men along with boozer but they have a solid inside game. Getting rid of ricky davis has helped lebron out cause now there isnt anyone on the team that will be selfish and take HIS shots....even though thier PG toke 3 bad shots in the final quarter he still is quick

True Shaw. Also If Cleveland can nearly defeat the Lakers in that fashion, they will do alright for themselves come post season. I know the Lakers played without Kobe, but Kobe's PPG havs decreased drastically, so he wouldn't have made too much of an impact. Maybe he would have been even more of a distraction than an impact.

I gained a new respect for Gary Payton last night, he alone stopped the Cavs dominating surge in the 3rd quarter and kept the game close after the cavs got up 10 points.

Payton played a great game last night...its ashame that when kobe plays he gets at most 8 shots a night...a full healthy laker team beats The cavs 9-10 times...but the lakers are old....and the cavs have so much room to improve...i wouldnt want to be a team playing them come post season...in the mortal words of coach rhodes, anything happens in the playoffs!!!

I would take youth and inexperiance over aging old guys any day of the week in the NBA now...didnt use to be that way...but in a 7 game series...i would!
