Now this is coming after only seeing one game so far, but im extremly unhappy with the hoosiers so far this season. I believe expectations were mildly high for this team, and to come out and lay 2 eggs against ISU, and Western Illinois shows me 2 things. Davis is an absoulutly HORRIBLE COACH, and the recruits he brought in dont know a damn thing about IU basketball. White played decent in the 2nd half but still the fact of the matter is they arent a team and never will be. Im not racists by any means but when you recruit in Indiana, you must get some kids from indiana that bleed crimson and cream. Back in the day knight would recruit probably about 70% in state and win alot of basketball games. Its a well known fact kids in this state know how to play the game. If IU doesnt turn it around soon with their next 4 games, Davis will be out and IU will be below 500 again this year...BDH what do you think?

Ryan Tapak needs to be running the point, hands down that's not even a question.
I know what you mean with the racists thing but I agree we need some homegrown Indiana boys that can shoot on the team (tapak). Although Davis did pull the top 3 players from the state of Indiana last year. IU was down 5 to WIU and Tapak came in and the whole team had energy. Don't get me wrong Marshall Strickland is playing amazing this year as a 2 guard (10 pts. 7 reb. 3:1 A/TO ratio last game and a full state line the gaem before) but he flat out is not a floor leader. Ryan Tapak runs the offense and leads the team. I too am frustrated with IU basketball this year but it's only 2 games and I think this team with time will gel. A positive is IU's defense, there defense alone will keep them in ball games and you have to love the emotion that Vaden, White, and Ewing are playing with right now. If that can rub off on the rest of the team we'll have a good year. Vaden is an absolute machine, he's going to be a special player at IU. I think a line up of tapak, wright, vaden, kline, and white could be a good one and sub in Ewing and Strickland accordingly. This Weds. will be a huge test and I hope that Assembly Hall boos Sean May's fat ass right off the court. |

the composer just went deaf.
the singer lost his breathe, in the glow of the crowd. the dancer's on a crutch. the writer drank to much. the director lost his touch. In the glow of the crowd. can you resist the urge to burn the script we wrote? |
