Thats what I like to hear. Lethal, I seem to remember you and I getting a little "tangled" up last year, thus starting our rivalry and fierce competition.

Ahh...but the rivalry began before the game, VOL. Remember? It was the build up of co-captains of our sixth grade intramural team going head to head. You and me man, remember? That was built up for the whole week, then we started off the game guarding eachother.

Does it really matter? We know that the other team doesn't stand a chance, especially with our newest member of the team. I'm looking for him to help us out quite a bit. Also, I'm looking for Dirty Harry to have at least 10 points and I will score the rest of the points. I think we will do fine as long as f3lix doesn't play. With that said, lets kick some ass.

Hopefully someone really good though. We need to perfect our skills, and playing these second rate teams just isn't getting it done for us. Dirty, you're starting. -Ugly Bastard

We lost our second game of the season, 40-22. It was an encouraging loss nonetheless. With two minutes left in the first half, we were up by four, then she just started to slip away.
Either way, everyone played great again, except Orgazmo, but just kidding, he played well too. Here are the stats for the game: Statisically, Rudy was probably player of the game. Although a new member of our team Jordan Dotson, Dirty Harry, and Kzx25k1 also played really well, IMO. In actuality, everyone played pretty well, and I'm not just saying that. It was an encouraging outting. -Ugly Bastard |

1-14 from behind the arc isnt going to win you games fellas...gotta control the clock and pound it inside..you have solid guards...take advantage!!! 5-6 from the line...get to the line...you win!!!! Gotta be more physical...you need a fight to show everyone you mean business!!!

it wasnt a bad game till we got destroyed in the second half. lets see if we can put a whole game together next time. Passing the ball around, taking smarter shots, and keeping the ball under control would help a lot because we wouldnt be running back and forth so much and that saves a lot of energy, not to mention it'll help us score more. The shooting % needs to go up. Also, not that stats are that important...but i know i didnt take 8 shots. I think weve got potention to hang with anyone if we play more like a team and get some ball movement going on. By tourney time i think we can pull one out

Alright, kzx252k1, shut the hell up, you just lied in your whole post. Tonight's team we would have a possibility to compete with, last week's team, no way.
Personally, I suck now and I can't do shit. I can't shoot and I couldn't drive at all tonight. Rudy was play pretty well. The reason we lost so bad is because they started out with 3 wide open buckets at the beginning of the second half somehow. I guess it was a mixup on men or something. Then after that nobody got back on defense so they just threw long balls and got fast breaks which hurt us. Without those points, it would have actually been a game. A low scoring game, but a game at that. Last, I think we need Shaw here for a coach. He has coached intramurials I believe and also coached powder puff football, so he knows how to coach, any sport. |

B.) You're god damn right that stats aren't important, so quit fucking worrying about them. And I'm not just saying this to you either. There are a couple people on this team that are fucking hawks when it comes to making sure they are personally glorified through their statistics. Quit fucking worrying about it. The stats are there more to measure improvement from game to game, not to impress anyone. No one fucking cares, so quit asking me halfway through the game "how many you've got". Fuck you. Okay, that'll do. -Ugly Bastard

-Ugly Bastard[/QB]</font>[/quote]That's what I tried to do, but the ref needs to call the foul, as well, as I experienced on that fast break last night. The jews are too slow to see contact.

ok...i finally made a post, i think an honest on at that, and I guess a few people thought it was their job to shoot it down. In reply to troutsniffer telling me to shut the hell up, and my whole post was a lie...anyone who knows anything about basketball will tell you that if you control the ball, you control the game - which is exactly what i stated in my post. The reason we play terrible is because one person dribbles down the court and either takes it by themself...or passes it once and that person shoots. I dont think ive seen more than 2 passes on a possesion so far. Just because we dont have the best players doesnt mean we cant at least keep a game within 10 points. And also, my statement about out inability to put a whole game together was dead on. We scored about 6 points in the second half. That is a dead giveaway right there. And people not getting back on defense and not covering their man is a result of giving up. How about we keep the players in that hustle because they are the ones that really want to play. just my opinion
