With that being said, the people who are out there playing are the best players on the team. That's why your ass was on the bench at the end of the game. If you wanna bitch about not getting playing time, go right ahead, you're just gonna piss everyone off and play even less. I've been on intramural teams with 12 guys, where if you're lucky, you play 15 minutes a game. The fact that we've only got 8 guys on this team, allows ample playing time for your self-centered ass. Now shut the fuck up before I clothsline you to the floor, ya fat fuck. -Ugly Bastard And PS: If you honestly think I'm making "several questionable calls late in the game", you've got a dildo up your ass. I'm not making questionable calls late in the game, because I'm not making any calls late in the game. If you haven't noticed, most of us are out there to have a good time, myself included. I just pretend to play coach, because I can't play right now. Honestly, I could give a fuck less about you right now, just so you know, I mean that. I've lost a lot of respect for you, seeing how you handle yourself in such a situation. If you want a little advice for the rest of the year: Shut the fuck up, and learn to have a bit of fun in life. ok first off i wouldnt ever knock anyone elses basketball iq when you say that your double teaming a guy when a teammate gets burned...please refer to that as help side defense....and giving up a foul to prevent a lay up isnt team play...its something thats should be done always...my whole basketball career i found myself as a role player...not getting 30 minutes a game but when i was in i did the little things...obviously at the end of the game you want your best 5 out there and just listening to your comment show me your probably not one of them...so know your role...shut your fucking mouth..and have some fun....god damn i mean its fucking intermurals....and stop talking like you know the game of basketball...cause you dont have a fucking clue my friend....i would take UB's Knowledge over yours ANYDAY!!!

f3lix, since you clearly know what's best for "the team" since you're such a team player and all. You will be making all decisions as to who is playing in the next game. I just want you to know, that when you play your fat ass the entire game, I'm going to be laughing at the thought that you think you're a team player. But back on subject, I'm being serious. You're making all of the calls next game as to who goes in for who, who subs for who, who starts, how long everyone plays, everything. I'm not joking around with you either. Have fun, and good luck. -Ugly Bastard

oops. looks like i stirred up a hornets nest. All i meant to do was say that I think we could play much better basketball than we have. It is intramurals and its more for fun than anything else...but its just my opinion that keeping the score close and being competitive adds to the fun. i didnt meant to turn people against each other here.

F3lix, I heard that you played basketball in highschool and that you were pretty good. After hearing this I thought that you knew what you were doing and that you would help out our intramurial team, but after watching you, i've decided that it would be better if you weren't even on the team at all. You bitch, bitch, bitch, and although we lost, I still had fun last night. Although next week, you can bet your ass I am going to have a hell of a lot more fun.
We will start playing better once everybody starts getting back into the game since most of us haven't really played for quite some time. We have fine team play from everybody, not just you, you selfish bastard. You just want credit and you're not getting it so you're getting pissed now. I'm glad that UB is having you make all the decisions next week, cause you're gonna fuck up so bad and then we can all blame shit on you. |

UB I'll take you challenge, and in fact, you won't see me playing much next week, because instead, I can do a better job directing things. If we can get a basketball before the game, we're going to shoot a couple shots, so everybody gets the feel for a shot and doesn't go into the game cold. I'd like us all to be there at 9:45, and anybody that can get access to a basketball before the game, please do so we can have more to shoot with. UB, can you play? If you can, you'll start. I want 2 tall guys in there. UB kzx252k1 Rudy (the new guy from last week) Trout Those are the starting 5. 2 mental mistakes, and you'll be subbed. I think these are the most effective 5 in a complimentary way, because I think you know how to play with each other. More to come later.

F3lix, is this the same Pike high school that was supposedly the best in the state a couple years ago? I think I remember hearing something about that, correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, you quit for this coach, I don't see how that is relevant to anything.
Now, I think most of us understand basketball terms. Everybody knows, at least kind of knows what zone is, it isn't that tough to figure out. Now that we're on the subject of zone, I would like to make a possible proposal of playing zone defense. It's not that hard to play and it would hopefully force them to take more outside shots, which I've noticed most players are not very good at. Now this is just a suggestion, I'm not saying it would work, but it would be tough for them to get the ball down low if we played it well. We may not play zone well, but I think it's at least worth a try. F3lix, we would all like to shoot around before the game, it's almost impossible to shoot decent if your first shot is in the game. It's just hard for us since we don't have a ball and we don't have much time. |

Alright f3lix, perhaps I was a bit too harsh earlier. I'd still like you to come out and play and what not, you're not a bad player. I'd just like it if you got some midol and calmed the fuck down.

OK FELIX...you think your basketball mind huh....well let me let you in on a littl secret..PIKE HAS NO BACK DOOR PLAYS IN THEIR PLAY BOOK....The reason that coach is even considered a great mind is he had a guy by the name of Chris Thomas that carried that team...and then last year he had 6 guys that went d One...yeah thats right...you only play 5 guys at a time so he had one D1 player on the bench....Coach Rhodes is a baskeball mind...Best winning percentage of any Indiana HS basketball coach ever...and i knwo the game of basketball probably about 100x's better then you will ever know...also you were all conference your freshmen year huh???? weird...must have went to a 1a school or was in a very weak conference...and you would think somebody with that talent would have stayed with basketball...hmmmmmmm

haha no he isnt...he had built up a program here and was ready for a new challege...that challenge has started this year and he is 5-13 or something like that...but they start a freshmen and a sophomore...the sophomore has been hurt throughout the season and he is 6'8" and the past shows us you give coach rhodes a young guy with a body like that....and the kid will be good!!!

I guess so, but It does take away from his prestige. When you think Al Rhodes, you think Warsaw Basketball. And now his winning percentage history is up for grabs unless he starts winning again.

I elected not to play for Bullington after participating in a summer camp that he had to see what players he would have to coach. He showed a great mind in basketball, but the guy is dumber than a rock, and I can only play for coaches that I respect and can look up to as people. Call me a quitter, fine. That's just who I am and those are my values.
Trout and Harry, I appreciate your thoughts of constructive criticism and blind faith here. Orgazmo, Tongue; you're both going in within 5 minutes into the game, don't think you aren't getting PT. We're going to use the bodies we have to the best of their ability to maximize our endurance. The best players I've ever played with are soccer players; they see things before they happen and have endurance like no other. UB, you keep doin whatever you want, but since you told me to take over, I'd appreciate if you'd shut your mouth unless you have something to say that could help the team out or correct an oversight of mine. Shaw, you aren't even on the team and have no idea about my relations to basketball. I went to Hamilton Southeastern, one of the 10 biggest schools in the state, so no, it wasn't some small shitty school, but you wouldn't know that living in your little box. To the whole team, I want good things and I'm a fucking dictator; but I'm successful in what I do and demand respect in what I am doing. If you don't believe in what I'm doing, give me blind faith and see where it takes you. I hate being a hardass about this, but that's who I am. I have fun when everyone puts in their strongest effort and the team plays well together. We will be playing a 2-3 zone if the team has a big man that we can't stop. If not, we'll play a 1-3-1 zone. The guys I want starting are those who know how to play this defense and the ones coming off the bench can learn by watching and quickly pick up on it. From now on we're a team. |

Next, I would like to say that I like the idea of playing a zone defense because not very many of us are quick enough with our first step to play good man to man defense, myself included. Also, help side defense is not something that many players on the team are real used to either. 1-3-1 could be a bit hard though for some to grasp.
