Of course, numbers produced in a single week (the first week nonetheless) really can't be a benchmark taken too seriously. That's probably for the best anyway...or people would be "laffing" at you for taking peyton in the top 4.

I simply said that, if you can criticize someone for choosing Mr. Alexander in the top 3 (fyi: he was picked 1st on average), then one could easily use similar logic to say that your Manning pick was shitty. I also pointed out that both of the claims would be based on the first week's stats...and that it was certainly not a sound platform for judgment.

First, I was defending being attacked for drafting Manning.

Secondly, I am well aware that we can't base anything off of one week.

Thirdly, DJFC, you laugh at my team every year??? This is the second year we've done this. Plus, I recall my team beating yours last year when we met heads up.

You guys can laugh at my team from last year. I made some poor draft choices that had 3 of my first 5 picks have season ending injuries in the first 4 weeks, and the other 2 guys had the worst seasons of the careers. All in all, being only one game out of the playoffs with that happening to my first five picks seems rather stunning to me. I did win my last four games of the year and by an average of 22 points. Laugh all you want though, I will have my vengance this year.
