Default All NBA First Team

2005-06 ALL-NBA FIRST TEAM: Position Player, Team 1st Points
Forward LeBron James, Cleveland (116) 610
Forward Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas (105) 584
Center Shaquille O’Neal, Miami (45) 402
Guard Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers (110) 597
Guard Steve Nash, Phoenix (106) 583

2005-06 ALL-NBA SECOND TEAM: Position Player, Team 1st Points
Forward Elton Brand, L.A. Clippers (15) 309
Forward Tim Duncan, San Antonio (17) 277
Center Ben Wallace, Detroit (44) 363
Guard Chauncey Billups, Detroit (21) 378
Guard Dwyane Wade, Miami (13) 373

2005-06 ALL-NBA THIRD TEAM: Position Player, Team 1st Points
Forward Shawn Marion, Phoenix (4) 270
Forward Carmelo Anthony, Denver 97
Center Yao Ming, Houston (30) 261
Guard Allen Iverson, Philadelphia (1) 104
Guard Gilbert Arenas, Washington 79 79

I'm sorry, but how the fuck did Dwyane Wade not get on the first team and Shaq did? Wade carried the Heat on his back all year, Shaq had a shitty year. Fuck the GGFFC concept, that is terrible. Wade did so much more for his team than Kobe, too. How is Kobe different than Iverson? Each team had a bad season, each player shot 40% and scored 34 points. Ugh, big markets make me sick.

Man there really must not be any good centers left in the NBA.

Shaq had an awful season and is 1st team.
Ben Wallace, while a defensive monster, really does nothing offensively whatsoever, and he's 2nd team.
Yao Ming hardly plays half the games this season and makes 3rd team.

Weak.

I really didn't realize how shitty the centers were until these came out. Kinda sad.

Too much emphasis is put on team success. I can understand that it comes into play for MVP voting, but for 1st team selections? I don't think it should. My point? Kevin Garnett should be on this list. He is deserving of at least third team selections. Ridiculous.

I wouldn't replace any of the 6 forwards with Garnett for this NBA season.

Secondly, the lack of center production might be because the NBA now uses 7 footers at PF. Duncan and Nowitzi are nice examples, not to mention Garnett.

You would take Shawn Marion and Carmelo Anthony over KG?

Based on their output this year, I would not have placed Garnett over either of these two players for the All NBA teams.
