MMA Fighter- Scott Blevins

I'm not sure why I didn't make this post long ago. I want to introduce to the mma (and non-mma) fans here a man destined for self-proclaimed greatness. Scott Blevins hails from Mentone, Indiana which is about 15 min. from Shaw, UB, Gaz, Ninjaface, Pliedes, and I's hometown. The guys is a nut, there is some sort of screw loose in his head. I'm sure that Shaw can provide more information than I, but watching the video's will do enough justice.

Scott Blevins - Official Mixed Martial Arts Fighting Resume

There you can see Scott Blevins fighting record. You'll notice that his record is 0-13, and that all losses came in the first round with the longest going 2:13. How somebody didn't beat this guy in less than a minute is beyond me. I'm actually pretty shocked that any organizations actually have him fight, the only reason they might actually allow him to fight is for pure entertainment purposes.

Fight 1: Ryan McIntosh vs. Scott Blevins

You'll notice that this fight takes about 30-45 seconds. McIntosh takes Blevins down with ease and then takes his back instantly. Blevins taps before he can even be punched. The best part of the video is McIntosh yelling "Fucking Bitch!" in Blevins ear after he taps.

Fight 2: "Asian Sensation" vs. Scott "Lionheart" Blevins

Again Blevins taps out due to strikes after about 30 seconds without really taking any big punches.

Fight 3: Zach Jenkins vs. Scott Blevins

This time Blevins actually gets rocked pretty good. Funny parts of this fight is the entire thing. I highly suggest listening to the intro where Blevins claims to be gracie trained, trained in "Maui Tai" not Muay Tai, and also is on the "fast track to the UFC". The announcers are absolutely hilarious throughout. Quite possibly the funniest part of the whole thing is that Blevins tries to cheapshot the guy when they touch gloves.

I'm not sure if Blevins genuinely is that stupid or if he just enjoys getting his shit pushed in. But I can say with 100% confidence if somebody offered me even $20.00 to step into the cage with Blevins on a weeks notice I would do it in a heartbeat.

I will add this little tidbit about Scott Blevins. He actually won a championship for a promotion. He won it on a forfeit loss. He held this title during the 2008 Kosciusko Fair in July. I went out for my normal 20 minutes to rock some fair food quickly, and pick up my Standard Issue KC Online Mesh hat. I got to see the Lionheart with his belt drapped around his shoulder, dressed in typical Fairwear. It's isn't unusual to see odd things
@ the fair, but a championship belt, which you won via forfeit was a first.

Advance about 3 weeks from that time. I get a txt message from a buddy of mine T-Money. The txt said, " Blevins is walking down the street from your apt. His belt is in hand." I tried to make it down and find him, only to see him driving away in his small truck. How do I know that it was him? Lionheart on the back of the window where you would normally see Garcia or Nunez.

He has repeatedly called the Times Union, ( our local newspaper) to get stories written about him. This guy really was put on earth for everyone's pleasure. If you watch the Jenkins vs. Blevins fight, that is actually the only punch he has thrown in his career I believe. There is something in the works for a couple of us to go to his next fight. Ohhh how glorious that would be!

too funny

Repugnant Abomination 01-12-2009 09:12 PM

You guys need to show the former champ some respect!

hfam95 01-14-2009 06:27 PM

Funny shit. + internets

Edit: Holy shit this dude lost to Chris Clark in 32 seconds. That's 7-28 Chris Clark. That's like the Washington Wiz beating Oklahoma City 150-45.

I was kind of curious as to why his "Forfeit" win wasn't listed anywhere for me to find it. I was told that it wasn't even a win. My buddy was at the event, and I guess this guy just kind of was mocking him. He said it was more like a WWE style interview session. He told Blevin's to just keep ahold of his belt, until he could find time to come back and beat his ass. I guess Blevins went nuts. Holding the belt into the air like he had won it. My buddy said he couldn't figure out what was going on. This was before anyone knew of the Legend we call the Lionheart.

SittinOnDubsWGW 01-15-2009 05:24 PM

wow, that guy is ridiculously bad.

Cocktooth 03-18-2009 02:57 AM

The Lionheart was arrest 2 weeks ago for Felony Child Molestation. He fornicated with a 14 year old numorous times. He is going to not only get his ass kicked for being a chester, but also going to get his ass beat because he will tell everyone he is an MMA fighter. Ohh the Blevins story continues to grow. My buddy is going to visit him in a week to see how he is holding up. I will let you guys know about it!

Umm... did anyone read that article? He basically ratted out his friends for anything and everything after getting arrested:

Quote:

After Blevins was arrested, he informed police of information concerning drug sales and participated in a controlled drug buy of 1-1/2 ounces of marijuana.
LOL!

THEINCREDIBLEdork 03-18-2009 12:54 PM

I hope that piece of shit gets murdered in prison.

Cocktooth 03-18-2009 01:32 PM

A buddy of mine is friends with the cop that picked him up. A couple funny happenings.

He immediately rolled over on all of his friends hoping to avoid a serious sentence.

He had a poster/picture in his living room of him touching hands with Zach Jenkins. Some of you might remember that this was the fight where he swung on his opponent on the touching of the gloves. I don't think he is going to make it out of prison.

Orgazmo 03-18-2009 02:30 PM

This guy does not disappoint.

Ugly Bastard 03-18-2009 02:45 PM

I know. I love him. His whole life is like one big epic fail.

Beebs 10-16-2009 11:12 AM

At some point a promoter is going to get arrested for neglegent homicide for signing the guy.

Cocktooth 10-18-2009 06:02 PM

That promoter could be Bull Dog Fights promoter on Nov. 7th. We are debating on going and watching Blevins in Kokomo, or going to the Strikeforce event. We are having a round table discussion tomorrow at work to figure out which one we will go to. Hip Hugger vs. VIP party with Fedor. ( A Chiropracter works with all of the fighters out of the Iowa camp and has the hook up for all of us)
