I am creating a Soccer league on The Times' "Play the game" site, but I need to know how many players and when the draft will be before I can create the league, which is shit.

I don't think the draft will be hard, you can just rank the players you want and let it take over.

Never used this before, so it could be a shitty first year.

If you have experience and know a better league, start one and we can forget this one

I've played the ESPN version before but it wouldn't work very well with such a small group because it lets teams have the same amount of players.

I won't wager, but I would love to join this league this year. I've been trying to learn the sport. After one year, I will be able to put my money where my mouth is.

Edit, I'm in. I'm having problems on the site to get things set up. If you have the league, I'm in it. Let me know the draft. I will play enough Euefa, ( I know that isn't how you spell it, but I don't give a fuck,) to end up knowing what I need.

No, you can register throughout the season, I think it will just start you from next week, i'm not sure how it works.
I'm having a shitty week due to forgetting to put Darren Bent as captain.

Real nice score, I don't think many people expected Everton to lose 6-1, that fucked me.
I think the points system leans towards goals/assists so defensive midfielders are out of there, Kuyt as a midfielder is bullshit too, but I like it.

Kuyt normally does play more as a midfielder that isn't really a true winger in that 4-2-3-1, but yea there are tons of guys that are listed as midfielders that are, if not out and out #9 type center forwards, definitely forwards. Last year most sites had Ronaldo listed as midfielder despite the fact he spent most games as the point man of a 4-3-3, and the rest as a wide forward.

Whats great is that I get Gerrard as a midfielder, which he hasn't been for all of last season and half the season before that, he is clearly a second striker/trequartista, and is going to score a fuckton of goals from that role. Arshavin is another one, last year he did line up as a mid, but I have a feeling this year he will play a lot like he does for Russia, in the same spot Gerrard does.

Taking a big risk tonight, played my wild card and made 3 transfers giving me -4 points.
Subbed Lescott because of all the shit thats happening with him lately, he will probably get sold to man city in the next few weeks, ebanks blake is injured so I transferred him for owen, who is starting against burnley in half an hour, could score a few.
also got Bassong and Skyrtel.
9 players tonight, risking owen as captain instead of Defoe in the hope of Man U thrashing burnley.

Edit : also everyone should join this, I thought a few of you played Fifa? represent niggaz

Aftermatch thoughts : my team owned, big mistake risking owen instead of Defoe, anyone have Man U losing? this combined with the 6-1 score on saturday has been a bitch on predictions

Not being able to check the scores until everything is updated is a bit over the top.

United are always going to have problems in games where they need a goal from nothing; Ronaldo did it reguarly, Rooney is just not that type of player, which leaves their hopes with Berbatov and the kids.

and the Defoe/Owen swap was a huge fucking mistake, but I don't think my reasoning is wrong, just one of those things.

Edit : its back on, somehow my transfers didn't go through? meaning Defoe was captain, and you can all suck my number 1 balls.

I've never found a good answer to this question, but do you gents know of anywhere online to stream football matches??? Seems like a lot of people are looking for this, but no such things exists. Hell, I wouldn't even mind torrenting the big games if they were timely and organized well.

^ I'm actually working on this atm, and i'll get to you when I find an answer, I managed to stream the wolves game yesterday on some channel i've never heard of, I use Sopcast for most of the MMA which is alright but a little bloated.

I don't have a Bet365 account so not sure what the quality of stream they provide is, but lots recommend it, justin.tv is another one as a last resort, quality is shit though.

Justin.tv has a ton of soccer games that are streamed. If you have direct tv, there is a preview of a channel with all the games on there. 621 and 22

Sopcast seems the best stream, i've tried TvAnts and torrentstream but both of them require a seperate proxy problem due to most of the UK/US stopping these streams.
Easiest way i've found is to install sopcast and find the link on this site
