I hope she quietly deletes it like Jesus would. And takes her action or lack thereof as another test from Jesus which she passed, bolstering her faith and seeing it as a sign from God that she must try harder to spread His Word to those that are ignorant of His teachings.

Be sure to keep us updated on the hilarity I'm sure will ensue.
I get into so many of these it's not even funny (mostly on my parents or other acquaintances walls). There are so many unbelievably dumb fucks out there its, well, unbelievable. (For the record, this was on the day the Chilean miners were rescued. I jumped the gun a bit but that's all she would have responded with in regard to the "what has he done lately" question anyways) ![]() |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

She kept leaning on the Bible as her source...so go in for the kill. I've always preferred using their holy book against them, it's the most demeaning and easy way to make them look/feel stupid.

How about not telling me who I should respect? Respect is earned, not given, ever hear that one in your vast erudition, fuckhead?
Giving credit to god without giving any credit to the engineers, geologists, rescue workers and countless volunteers for the rescue of the Chilean miners is highly annoying, that's where my "need" comes from. I also like to argue and religious status messages are the best way to smoke out idiots. If you read the entire transcript, you'll see that the problem of personal faith is only a minor issue compared to the phenomenal ignorance that blooms from it, all under the umbrella of religion. This kind of thinking is a problem that needs to be addressed; as I said, the religious are entitled to their own beliefs, but not their own facts. also if you were just trolling then sorry but you've kind of turned into a pussy on the religion front |

1) No one read that entire post. Too long.
2) Arguing with religious people is the biggest waste of time in the world. I agree with you in thinking that the people who you're talking about tend to be idiots. But shit man let sleeping dogs lie. |

Dude it's like watching a puppy drown. I just feel so bad I can't help myself. Except it's the puppy's fault. So i'll try to save it, but i'm not going to be happy about it for being such a dumbfuck in the first place.

I can't let sleeping dogs lie all the time, either. They have to know that someone disagrees with their bullshit at some point. Most of the outspoken Christians I know are so surrounded by equally blinded jackasses, that it's usually a big circle jerk of idiocy. I like to speak up sometimes, if only for the thought that one of them might read it, and although it won't change his/her mind, it might plant that lingering little thought of doubt that they'll never admit.
And also because it's fun to stir shit up. |

Yeah but an argument is basically an agreement to use logic and evidence to settle some disagreement. And religion is an agreement to suspend the use of logic and evidence. I'm not for or against religion, but it doesn't make sense to argue.

We know. But we still do it anyways, even though it always turns out the same. As fruit said, I know i'm not going to change anybody's mind over the course of a single conversation online, but if there's a chance I can help to plant that tiny seed of doubt that has never had a chance to make it under the soil, then it's worth it.

Yeah seriously, way to ruin an ok joke faggots. If I didn't know better then that, I'd say you were all faggots. But that's more then I'd really like to know about you. Tell me than, do you see the real mistake in my post? I forgot to add my preposition. The post should have read, if they let people into heaven who cannot... It's ok though, I'd rather have done that then be unable to distinguish when to use then and than. Because if I couldn't do that, than I'd be one hell of a hypocrite asshole.
