ok. i find this to be humorous. no one can determine which band is better/who sucks the most.

personally, i listen to older music, not because it's popular, but because i grew up listening to it. it was my first love. i've been listening to the beatles, the who, the doors, the stones, zeppelin, the guess who, etc., etc., since i can remember. and it is annoying how people know "yellow submarine" and consider themselves huge beatles fans just to look hip and trendy.

fuck those people.

anyways, there are bands/groups/people that do suck and i'm slightly amazed at how they make the airwaves...since i listen to airwaves...

anyways, culture has totally fucked itself over as far as popular music goes.

If by league of its own you mean pile of shit, then yes. I like some Metallica, some isn't too bad. However, for the most part, they all suck dick, along with their napster-hating lawsuits. Fuck them.

It's too hard for me to list off every band I hate, because there is not enough room on the Blue Optic server to hold a post that big. So I'll just say this: whatever band you like, I hate.

The new metallica is shit..i agree with that...but back in the day....they were the shit....and the only reason that didnt like napster was there shit was going around before they released it...the shit is legal anyways...there will be no music if people DL it and dont buy CD's....yeah 2 of them cut their hair....not the whole band....hetfield cleaned up....and cut his hair to show the more clean cut person that he is....and lars looked like shit with long hair....so he did himself a favor

And Pli.....how much Hot Hot Heat have you listened to? Because they've got some kick ass songs.....I don't know, the lead singer isn't exceptionally melodic, but for that kind of stuff, he's quite good. I don't know, I've just really really begun to like their stuff.

And Prof. Numbers. You know that you wouldn't be liking any of the shit that you listen to (and I say shit meaning stuff) if people hadn't liked the stuff that you hate.

And Shaw, Metallica does rock......but they weren't the heralders of rock n' roll. Far from it. They had some good stuff in their day, but....I don't know. They've really really disappointed me here of late.

You know who really fucking sucks? This group known as The Mars Volta. A couple of friends and I went to a Red Hot Chili Peppers show and The Mars Volta was covering for them... anyway they sucked so much balls that my friend started throwing loose change at them and missed the lead singers head by only a couple inches... then the lead singer got pissed off picked up a torch light and began yelling "fuck you" into the crowd, it was great. Then Flea got on stage and said he hated "the fuckers who threw shit at The Mars Volta." Anyway just thought I'd post that you guys may hate certain bands, but I really hate The Mars Volta.
