Really looking forward to this. I have a theory that Marvel puts out a bunch of blockbuster shit comic book movies to make money for the ones that are actually worthwhile.
That grenade scene was awesome. |

On an emotional level, seems very similar to LOST. I like to think of myself as a logical person, and LOST made practically no fucking sense whatsoever, but it was still one of the best TV shows i've ever seen because of the ability of the director and actors to convey emotions. I think this will be the same kind of show; shit that doesn't make sense pretty much every episode, that they might make it up as they go along, but good for an emotional ride. |

Agreed. Top comment on Reddit for it a week or so ago:

It's ridiculously annoying how much they put into trailers these days. Example below (WARNING-- DO NOT WATCH THIS TRAILER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THE PLOT FOR THE MOVIE. BUT YOU'LL PROBABLY SEE IT IN THE THEATER SOON ANYWAYS IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY) | |

Blonde I'm confused. The trailer you just posted seems very minimal?
I mean from the name alone I can kinda tell you the plot... it's not like the trailer did anything. |

I hate how much movie titles these days ruin the ends of movies.
If the sixth sense came out today it would be called "Ghost, starring Bruce WIllis". "Se7en" would be called "Decapitating Gwyneth" |

And another thing. Did anyone else watch the trailer for planet of the apes and assume it was a joke? Maybe I'm just conditioned to James Franco fucking with us. I'm still pretty sure this isn't a real movie.

This movie has the potential to be one of the best science fiction movies in a long, long time. Fuck Avatar, I want something dark.
