Anyone interested in a WC pool to choose the winner?

We'd have to throw it together in the next day or so, but UB and I would be in.

Thoughts are we would each put in a dollar amount ($100) and then randomly select a choosing order. From there, each person would get one (or two, maybe three) selections of a team depending on the random order you were selected with "field" being an available option that someone would have to take. Field would be defined as all teams not taken (and field can be taken whenever).

Anyone interested? Figure if we could even just get 4 total people, we could each have 2 choices and be happy.

Another option: $50/team and you can buy however many teams you like. Field would still be available. Number of teams bought would just determine how many times your name appears on the list before it's randomized.

Would any of you assholes play then? The Glyde would be in for one. I'd take two.

I'd like to be in.

I don't like buying teams for $50, as I think it'd be much more fun if we picked several teams for a set entry. If I'm putting $50 on a specific team, I'll just go to the sportsbook and get 20:1 on that $50 instead.

If 3 play, 5 teams each
If 4 play, 4 teams each
If 5 play, 3 teams each
If 6 play, 3 teams each

The problem is that, choosing that many teams, it's going to be a bitch to get all selections made in time as orchestrating shit with you assholes is like pulling teeth.

We have at least 4 now...and I imagine FC will want to play when he sees this. I vote we do 2 teams each (one person has to take field) and go from there. That'll actually give Field a tiny bit of value too.

Of course, that's no different than the $50/team thing meaning we'd have an extra half of a participant.

The $50/team pool is a much better and simpler idea. Stick with that imo. If it means we lose f3lix bc he'd rather bet his $50 directly on a team he likes than expose himself to the randomness of the draft order, so be it. Let's just keep this simple and get it done.

Gentlemen, I have a feeling this just isn't going to happen.

I'm flying to Vegas tomorrow meaning that, if I start this right now, I'll be MIA before it gets finished. If one of you want to take the reins, be my guest and I'll be happy to try to get my picks in in a timely manner. The worst scenario would be a half-drafted pool once shit has already started...and then half the people think they're playing for something while the other half assume it's not official.
