Musical Detective
I listen to a olot of music One of the advantages of this, mixed in with one of my Asperger's gifts of paying attention to the most minute detail, is that sometimes I randomly put parts of songs together, usually in regard to samples. It's like a much more complex game of Memory.
This is what I think the progression went for this famous guitar riff went from: Original Which Metaform Sampled Which Pretty Lights Sampled (or Pretty Lights could have taken from Original, can't really tell -- but clearly he added in the "I get a good feeling" lyrics, among other additions like the violin etc) Which Avicii then sampled |

The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Conceptually, I know how to figure it out, I think by processing it through a low-pass filter. I don't know how to do that yet though. It sounds like it's looped though, so I should be able to figure it out eventually. I'll post in here with results, sometime, in the future.

If you've got ten minutes and want to be utterly surprised at how often popular artists borrow loops from other artists, watch this. Also shows how much variation you can do to a loop by simply slowing down/speeding up/adding effects. This inspires me to sample more.

The main melodic loop from Kanye's "Real Friends" appears to be heavily influenced, if not a distorted sample, from Aphex Twin

That's a rough one. I don't believe it is Alan Watts. Deeper voice but definitely British.
