I fully agree. All of us got into this not to win, but to have fun and give enjoyment to our ginormous fan base. I was on the court at the time, and got the feeling that the only person that didn't want to run the play was Antram. I say fuck trying to win. We have an easy schedual and will do well weither we try or not...our only competition was game 2 and we lost it, so let's move on and play for fun and the fans. So far 9 people have boughten shirts, and a second order is soon to come...we need to give these people what they paid for.

While reading Aut's post, it reminded me of something that Zach said after the game. He said that now that going undefeated wasn't going to be our standout feat, that he was going to try his damnedest to dunk before the end of the season...I feel that we have our standout factor already, and that's our plays. That's why people come. That's why people buy shirts. That's why people go nuts during the game and come back the next week...Let me ask you guys a serious question, how many of you would take time out of your Sunday to watch a high school intermeral basketball team who's only goal is to win...like, for instance, the Lumberjacks? Noone...all of the people that watch the Lumberjacks play, just come over and watch ours anyway.

Whenever I hear the mention of Play #2, I can't help but think of the reaction it got during the first game...not just from the crowd, but from the team as well. It was an extremely gratifying feeling, and we all went nuts. Even though we were ahead at that point in the game, it actually gave us more momentum and our lead grew for a while. These plays, while not practical, actually work for us, and that's what's important.

I think we need to do some major work during practice at playing as a team, because we really don't get used to playing with eachother until about 10 minutes into it. That's why we're always behind by an ass load to start the game. COME TO PRACTICE! Plays like Play #2 will grow on you, and the more we do it, the better they'll be, and more practical, because we'd be better at them...just come damn it, and we will see the results.
