I think they're planning on doing a US version, but just like The Office it won't be as funny.

US office is infinitely funnier that UK office. Both are good, but one is better. The US one is better (like everything else).

It's already been on BBC America, it was on OnDemand a while ago (which you can watch even if you don't get BBC America).

It is fucking funny.

Since we're on the topic of british television, pretty solid travel/comedy show called "An Idiot Abroad." Ricky Gervais sends a friend of his around the world to all these different locales, but the friend is this dull, vanilla stereotypical british guy who is generally uncomfortable with everything unfamiliar, and he's miserable the whole time. Which for some reason is obscenely entertaining.

That sounded hilarious by description alone. Downloading.

Just finished the second season of "Breaking Bad." Bryan Cranston (aka the dad from malcom in the middle) plays a middle-aged chemistry teacher that finds out he has terminal cancer, so to make money for his family before he dies he starts cooking meth. It's a solid show and Cranston is great in it.

That show is right near the top of my list on TV shows to get to. I've heard tons of good about it but have been too consumed by Mad Men, Entourage, a re-watch of The Wire, and True Blood to find time for it over the past year. Soon though, soon.

Tonight is bittersweet: season finale of Mad Men. I haven't watched it yet, it's saved on DVR. Just like that half-sick-to-your-stomach you used to get on the last night of summer before school starts, or the feeling that some of you still get on Sunday evenings before it's time to go back to work, that's the feeling I get when the season finale of Mad Men rolls around. I don't want it to end. But I know it must. Truth be told, there are only 13 hours of Mad Men produced each year, which means I can only spend 0.015% of my life watching episodes of Mad Men that I have never seen before. I wish something closer to 10% was possible, but it simply isn't. So I have to take my 0.015% and do the best I can. And unfortunately for me, I only have one hour of Mad Men bliss left until it's back to another 9 months of waiting, patiently, for my drug to go back on the corner.

I've been watching The Event. I've been feeling like it's being written each week with new whacky twists. I thought this feeling was supposed to occur in season 3 or 4.

Just started watching "The Walking Dead" (leaked first ep) - doesn't air until next week. Based upon the Walking Dead graphic novels, which are fucking awesome

Supposedly it's supposed to get pretty gory, and if it stays true to the comic it definitely will. Not really a spoiler alert cause it's in the preview, but the first 5 minutes of the pilot he shoots a little girl zombie in the head, blood gushing from forehead and everything.

I expect great things from this show.

EDIT: It's pretty amazing how accurate everything is thus far. Also, to those of you who aren't familiar with it, this storyline is much more different from most zombie storylines, because the the horror doesn't come from the zombies (they're slow zombies and not really that scary) -- it comes from the completely fucked up things that humanity is driven to during the zombie apocalypse.

When reading the comic, I was not once horrified by the zombies, but there were times I was so into the characters that I had to put the GN down for a while.

I'm 3 episodes into Breaking Bad now. I'm not quite sure if I like it or not. The show...it almost feels too real. I guess that's normally a good thing, but Christ...this is some twisted shit going on. Almost hard to watch in parts.

Kremlin saying Cranston is good in it...that's spot on. The guy is perfect for this part.

Anybody keeping up with The Walking Dead? Just caught the second episode, I'm a huge fucking fan of how the series is turning out so far. Seriously, check it out.

I've been watching it so far, and I'm definitely digging it. I'm surprised at how graphic they're able to be with it being on basic cable.

Just finished season six of Entourage. Amazing. The finale had so much awesomeness. Ari coming into the office with a paintball gun to fire people was genius and one of the best scenes of the whole series. Drama's speech to the casting directors where he listed all of his accomplishments and said, "but still you make me sing for my supper," was tremendous; you could literally feel his pain. I even got into the E proposing to Sloan thing which normally would have grossed me out I think. And Matt Damon pressuring the shit out of Vince to donate money to charity? Downright hilarious.

I just jumped on the Dexter bandwagon, the first season was absolutely siiiick .... only one episode into the second and its already gotten chincey.
