In other news the current season of Dexter was meh and the finale was especially weak. Anyone seen "the Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret"? David Cross as an inept salesman in London. Only six episodes but it's pretty funny. | |

I thought the recent season of Dexter started off strong, but reached a limit, and each subsequent episode past said limit became more and more meh until the especially weak finale.
I'll check out that other show. I've always thought David Cross was pretty funny. |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Sort of. Finish the first season. I think you'll find comparing it to Law and Order to be like saying Robuchon is like Applebees because both places have people who bring plates of food out of a kitchen and give them to you.

Okay. But you can probably infer what it is based on my analogy, right? Like if that analogy was on the LSAT and you were asked:
"Is Robuchon a..." A.) 24 hour diner B.) High-end five star restaurant C.) Drive-thru eatery D.) Doesn't serve food You'd probably be able to use your big boy thoughts and figure out that the answer is B, right? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo%C3%ABl_Robuchon |

Pics or you've never left Indiana. And even if you do have the pics, and I'll bet $10 United States dollars you've never even been to two of those cities, let alone all three, I'm still calling bullshit on you ever having eaten at a single one of Robuchon's joints, let alone three of them.

I went with my family on all those trips. Therefore, any pictures taken were on their camera which resides at their house. I don't care if you believe me or not. I did lie though, I've only eaten at the one in NYC.

I actually have a funny anecdote while at Robuchon's. While consuming our food my brother gazes across the way and sees none other than Howie Long sitting at a table no more than 50 ft away from us.

Back to TV Shows. I'm watching Dawson's Creek at work from back in the day. Such an amazing show. I still love Joey Potter.

It's funny that I've been surrounded by some serious foodies in London and I've never heard of this restaurant. Perhaps it's past it's prime and is no longer the creme de la creme?

![]() The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. ![]() |

Whether or not it's past its prime isn't really the point. The point was that I needed a high-end restaurant to use in my analogy to Blonde, and at $200+ for a tasting menu, Robuchon was a great fit. Not all foodies are high-end foodies. Joel Robuchon's restaurants are the creme de la creme. Ask your foodie friends how many other restaurants they know of in London with 2 Michelin stars. You've got money. Try it sometime and report back, I'm curious.
